| The episode good. Ging card looked awesome. Kaito fight they should showed it instead of killing him off screen. All the good fights don't take place till the end of the arc. |
| That's it guys, I can already declare this. This is the most disturbing anime I've ever watched. Shingeki No Kyjin, Elfen Lied, Berserk, Claymore doesn't come close to this in terms of shock factor. |

RIP Kaito ;_;7 That was a harrowing image indeed: Pitou gleefully petting Kaito's severed head, cradled gingerly atop her lap, as his long silver hair flows into the water amongst the otherwise tranquil scene around them. The serene setting actually made that scene all the more disquieting. I wish that he had rolled a laser pointer or something; having failed that, I would really like to see the silent girl from the Phantom Troupe scaring Pitou with her vacuum cleaner...thing. At any rate, wonder how Gon's going to take the news. |

| I think I was almost the only one thinking a bit sceptical about this arc. Didn't like it at first glance. But holy shit... this episode made me realize this could be the best episode of Hunter x Hunter so far for me! Extremely fired up now. Lot's of feels at the moment ;_; |

| 5/5? DAFUQ... freakin'... 100/5 This episode blew my freakin' mind! This anime... has clearly proven its worth being my favourite anime ever. Every week, every episode, is amazingly engaging and intense, in addition, Madhouse's composition of events and content, as well as effects and soundtracks just completes it for me. I've said it before, I'll say it again, I love Hunter X Hunter. This week was just unbelievable. So much content, to be honest, I'm not sure I was ready when I clicked on the link to the mirror of AnimeFushigi. Ging's Hunter license, Neferpitou's wrath, Killua's realization, Gon's optimistic naivety and the arrival of Morel, Knov, and Chairman Netero... with the last minute highlighting Neferpitou vs Kite's fight's outcome. I can't believe it. Madhouse, again, did well with the soundtrack, debuting a few mroe new soundtracks that just accomplishes perfectly, what the mood is supposed to bring (I'm guessing) Awesome episode. I can't wait for the next... |

The way I see it, it is not so much optimistic naivety as it is Gon's general attitude. The moment he saw how strong Pitou was taking off Kite's arm in one blow and feeling her aura, he realized the deep shit that Kite was in. Deep down inside/subconsciously he probably knows Kite has little to no chance of surviving that encounter but seeing as it is Gon he will never give in to the despair of admitting Kite is dead as long as there is a bit of chance that he survived. This is why Killua who is more practical/sees things in a more calculated way, admires and is attracted to him so much. Hybridbloodszak said: Killua's last conversation highlights once again the special relationship Gon and him have with each other. Gon is the yin to Killua's yang and Killua reaffirms he needs Gon in his life. | Damn, this would have been more impactful for me if I wasn't spoiled looking at Google images a few weeks ago :-(. Because of that I just went ahead and read the rest of the manga which I also regret doing because Madhouse is doing such an incredible job adapting it. Nonetheless, it's still epic watching the scene with Pitou sitting with Kaito's head. This bit in the story is why HxH has become my favourite Shounen ever. |

| I think the fact that they didn't show the fight in the anime/manga was a good idea. It provided a good shock factor at the end of the episode and made us realize just how strong the Royal Guards are. If the fight showed how weak Kite was compared to Pitou, Kite's character would be ruined, or at least that is the way I see it. |
