| Honestly, I didn't like how Potato girl survived. It seems like she was only protected by "comic relief armor". I wish she'd had her head chomped off. But overall, I did like this episode. It was a nice victory for once. Pretty much everything went right for them. Also, after seeing Eren inside the Titan, I've been wondering. He was in the Titan's NAPE. This leads me to believe maybe *all* the titans are basically big robots with a little person inside the nape. I'm liking the preview for the next episode, too. Seems like Eren's going to have to go on the run. I wonder if he can show them his awesome Titan powers again some time soon. |

| I really could give less of a fuck for this show's animation quality as the whole mystery encompassing the Titans is too interesting for me to notice. Even though there are a lot of stills, I can tolerate the art quality of this show. The thick-lined art style is enough to satisfy me, plus the animation sequences during the Titan battles and leaps through the city seem great to me. However, I can understand that readers of the SnK manga are here mostly for the visuals of this anime, so all I can say is that's too bad. Guess manga fans will have to wait for more animators, or wait until major fight scenes later in the series. |

| Agree that the stills aren't really that big of a deal since they animate the action scenes really well to make up for it. This episode was fucking awesome though. I haven't read the manga, but I saw the "plot twist" everyone seemed to be talking about from a mile away. My first thought when Mikasa got cornered by the Titans last episode was "Eren's gonna come in and save her watch!"...then the Titan showed up. So I thought "what if this titan was actually Eren". And fucking YES!!!! Hopefully they explain wtf happened, but for now, I'm just happy that Eren's back. I think I'm in the minority that actually likes him haha. Can't wait for this next episode. Looks like the city has a bunch of haters haha. |

| Finally, Armin has proved his worth as a wonderful adviser and formulator of plans. Jean, in my opinion, isn't that great of a leader, but he does have a nice set of instincts. Seems like Reiner keeps trying to get on Annie's good side. Props to Mikasa and Annie for saving Sasha and Connie there during yet another awesome plan of Armin's =) And poor Sasha, but at least we know now that she's just as scared as everyone. I think that makes her more of a real person than just 'comic-relief'. Also, the scene where Mikasa realized it's Eren and cries- that was done beautifully and very realistically. I truly love the art and how the characters are depicted do honestly. And Eren....well that befuddled me. How did he grow his limbs back inside a Titan? Did he take over the body of the Titan that he was eaten by? How did he change the appearance of it? Looks like we'll find out next episode (and it'll also be confirmed he's a psychopath judging but that smile in the preview) plus we'll be seeing that Levi guy everyone says is so awesome. |

| Another glorious episode Damn that was one of hell fantastic falcon punch!! And that scene where Eren coming out of the titan neck nape was the most convoluted part of the plot so far, and that scene where Mikasa checking Eren heartbeat was just too much for me T_T furthermore Reiner saying that ramming your blade up their asshole’s is also an option was really hilarious XD,and Annie was just too fabulous this episode and too much credit for Mikasa for slaying that ridiculous Moe titan he was really devastating the frightening picture of the titans for me. Anyhow from that preview it seems things are gonna get even more twisted and finally Levi is appearing !! |
| Maybe they'll redraw the stills for the BD. If it's not caused by lack of budget then it might be because of time constraints. Anyhow choosing to concentrate on making the key parts glorious is better than compromising to animate all parts imo. |

Radius said: I loved how Jean cut that Titan's finger to get out of its grip. That was awesome. I really thought he was going to go self-sacrificial-lamb on himself and chop off his leg but I'm glad he's not like that. He's more of a better-keep-myself-alive-first guy and it's not as selfish as it seemed a few episode prior. |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

| Mikasa crying made me want to cry... ;_; thought it may have been better if they ended it with Mikasa doing an epic cry for the return of Eren. Episode was awesome. I didn't really even notice the stills until it was mentioned. Reiner and his talk of shoving the swords up the titans asshole was funny. |

| Actually really liked this episode. I was not sure how it was all going to go in the anime, but it was pretty solid and dat stonefaced Mikasa at the end crying. Action and OST was another plus too. After watching it, I'm amazed as to how people are nitpicking at that. The most stills were at the HQ when they were preparing the trap. They were explaining the whole thing whilst heading to their positions. As much as I would have enjoyed some animation, it didn't hinder any less. |
