"If you tremble with indignation at every injustice, then you are a comrade of mine"
When the union's inspiration through the workers' blood shall run
There can be no power greater anywhere beneath the sun
Yet what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one
For the Union makes us strong
Hmmm, is Kuroko the accumulated sales of all volumes or just some of the latest volumes?
I see it averaging 200k per volume so I'm surprised it has that large sales in the first fiscal half.
Either way, I'm happy for it. Getting some attention it deserves. More so that the anime is airing(which I think the fujoshis are liking. 8k combined BD/DVD in Stalker and likely to increase).
And Hiatus x Hiatus is selling so much even in hiatus. Resuming when?
damn one piece is so boss, beats ranks 2-6 COMBINED now that's something kinda makes you wonder if when one piece does end, a golden age will have ended ):
Oh man, One Piece is the boss, no one compete with it and it deserves its place.
Wow, no Bleach in the top 10, I was really surprised, was it maybe because of the Fullbringer-Arc?
I am really happy about Shingeki no Kyojin, it's a series you should definitely check out, you've never read anything like that. Still too bad that it didn't win that one award, was it Taishô?
Wish Chihayafuru would sell more, the anime is doing terrible if I remember right.
If all goes well Fairy Tail could possibly take #2 or #3 at the end of the year, hopefully. Mashima-Sama do not, under any circumstances screw up this Arc.
I have to admit that I didn't expect KuroBas to get such a significant boost after just two months. Disc sales might be looking somewhat good at best, but this is the most positive signal yet - what every adaptation dreams of, basically. I may have been quite wary of the producers' choice to have the series air on a late-night slot at first, but it's looking more and more like they've made a very smart move after all.
Uchuu Kyoudai, on the other hand, was expected (and very welcome). I still can't help but wonder how much better the movie would've done if it had been released at a slightly different date, though. Competing with Thermae Romae is no easy task.
One Piece pretty much pwns the list, if you know what I mean.

Chihaya really needs more love so we could hopefully see a proper closure sometime :/
Same goes to Natsume, the 4th season could be considered as the very last one, but I sure hope not since there's still a lot of room for future seasons.
Wow, Uchuu Kyoudai and Kuroko no Basket succeeded...
One Piece at top, of course, with Naruto following far behind...
Hunter x Hunter sold three volumes(I think) after quite a while in half a year...
There's still no anime of Shingeki no Kyoujin announced...
Gintama, Bleach and Katekyo Hitman Reborn not in top 10 was surprising...

Chihayafuru sold 619 DVDs and 1,922 BDs, so 2,541 total. Still bad of course, but in any event sales and ratings are two very different things. After all, Naruto gets vastly higher ratings than Bakemonogatari did, but Naruto sells about 3k a volume while Bake sold 78k a volume.
Different shows make their money different ways. The problem with Chihayafuru was that it was not the kind of show intended for late night time slots, but that's all they could get, so ratings were likely low too (they always are, late night), in addition to the home video sales being low (which was entirely expected).
Still, the manga is incredibly successful, so it's kind of moot if the anime increased manga sales. Sort of like how it almost doesn't matter how the Hyouka anime sells (although it's on track to sell well so far), because it's already moved well in excess of 215,000 copies of the first four Kotenbu series novels since April.

I waited for your comment since you know a lot more about that stuff than me, thanks for clarifying the situation.
