I'm only assuming because Animenewsnetwork has it listed as 12 episodes and Amazon has the Blu-Rays and Dvd's listed up. 6 BD/DVD's with 2 episodes each. But then there's the single link stating it'll be 45 episodes. All in this threadl. Other than that, there aren't exactly any other reliable sources yet stating there will be more. |

Yeah as much as it sucks, I've seen that kind of trend with blu-rays and a show's episodes, for example, I noticed that HxH releases 3 episodes a disc. Though I'm still hoping that it continues after the 12 episodes as like many people have stated, the "story" doesn't start till the flask plan arc. (Or when Unzen shows up) As a side note, anyone know how long Kuroko is supposed to be as I'm kind of expecting it to be just as long as Medaka. |

| If we're basing it on the OP song, Kuroko might go more than 12 episodes. Here in Medaka OP, it shows only Unzen and his crew and no hint of the next arc while in Kuroko they showed in the OP the other players that they will face later on. I read both so I know that Kuroko might run longer to cover the matches with those players while here, only Unzen and nothing on FP. And for the record, it followed the manga first chapter. |

| I don't understand the hate with the panty shots and fanservice. Read the show's genre. Ecchi is one of them. If you don't expect fanservice in an ecchi anime, just stop watching anime. It's getting irritating reading people complain about fanservice in an ecchi show. |

Japan loves their fanservice. Deal with it. Really, it's like people here don't bother looking up genres before watching an anime. |

| not good but im also not surprised. im not ready to hate on this as fast as i was beelzebub. beelzebub's manga started out great and the anime was awful from the beginning (how does this have over an 8?). havent read medaka, but even before the anime i was reading comments saying that the manga takes its time before it really gets good. ive heard there would be at least 2 seasons of this show. which if it were 2 24 episode seasons i would feel better about it, but if it is 2 12 episode seasons this show may never be able to get to these good parts. |

| I can actually see that most old-timers left Gainax - it's almost tangible, really. I usually drop shows when the first episode is crappy, but hey - it's that Medaka everyone's talking about, right? So there's no way it could be that bad, right? ...is what I thought after the first episode. It seems that I hadn't been in the wrong though - the second episode was even worse than the first one. I do understand that it becomes an action shounen after the current arc, but those several episodes of utter garbage before that happens are just too much for me. And I'm not really a fan of tweaked Haruhi rip-offs - especially cheap ones. Dropped. |

| Shiranui is the troll of this show. Literally all she does is troll when she pops up, and it's hilarious. Her and the guy are the only things that are making me come back. Other than that, this show doesnt really jump out at me. |

| It a pretty fun episode but really during it I couldnt helpp but feel like nothing was happening. Zenkichi needs more moments, really, he is the star of the anime. Cant wait to see what happens next. |
