Gravitation (like 2-3 kisses), Loveless (kisses (underages -_-) and even shoujo-ai), Sukisho (more fangirl-service than "real" BL), Gakuen Heaven (they chose the worse route for the stupid main chara, and even no more than a light kiss...), Mirage of Blaze (I don't even consider it as BL but still MAL use the "shounen-ai" tag), Monochrome Factor (really? what a joke! just some funny fangirl-service and it's not even a BL manga adaptation!!!), Patalliro (well this is great but... 1983, almost 30 years...), Togainu no Chi (hahahahaha!!!! hardcore BL game adaptation without BL or shounen manga adaptation?), Uraboku (NOTHING BL, shounen-ai fanservice, not even a kiss!), Yami no Matsuei (we had a kiss, maybe even two, but it was not like the two chara wanted it, even BL hater can watch it without fainting!), and the latest ones: Junjo Romantica S1&2 and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi S1&2!!! We cannot even make a comparison with the number of ecchi/loli/moe animes! There are even hentai OVA every months, if not every weeks... BL? around 1 OVA/season! But I'm curious, for those who said "there are so many good manga not adapted yet"! Please tell me which one would do a BL TV SERIE (at least 12ep)!!! I think about it and didn't find so many! Maybe around the BL novels, but my kanji reading level is not good enough to read novels yet so... for me just BL/shounen-ai manga! - Silver Diamond: fantasy, very very soft shounen-ai (Kyou kara Maou level, more shoujo than BL) but not finished yet, and need much more than 12ep (few 12ep season can also be made but did the fan will really bought the dvd? KKM novels are quiet famous even for non manga reader so...) - Koori no Mamono no Monogatari: fantasy, very light shounen-ai, but 24vol so also need a lot of episodes... still more shoujo than BL - Crimson Spell: 1vol/year at most, too much hard sex, if you cut this for a tv serie, there are not enough for 12ep, and Ayano Yamane Japanese fans complain before for IkokuRomantan that the drawing was bad on the OVA so I hear that there will probably never have other OVA (which is different the animix!) for her work - Karamete de Kudoite: also only 6vol yet, too much sex in the first vol so probably not enough material for 12ep, but the sex scenes can easily be censured so maybe later ^^ - Love Mode & ZE (Shimizu Yuki), each of them with 11 vol, can be adapted. The two series are licensed outside Japan. Not so many sex scenes, but it's an important part of the story in ZE (possible with censure) - Koi suru Bokun & Challenger (Takanaga Hinako) togehter 12vol but already OVA for "Koi suru bokun", can still be a 12+ episode TV series, can easily be censured for TV broadcast - Banana Fish (Yoshida Akimi), 19vol but old 1985-1994 and not BL, shoujo (light shounen-ai implied, and same "BL relationship" between Ash and XXX than in Berserk between Griffith and rich guys) - Sono Yubi Dake Ga Shitteiru/Only the Ring Finger knows (5 novels) can maybe also do it, I just read the first two so I don't very know... was quiet boring (at least in english) What else? For a 12+ TV series, we need at least 6vol series if a lot of scenario, much more if there are too much sex scene who must be censured! So, any ideas? I think I mostly know 1-3vol BL manga, or the previous ones! |

I would love to have adaptation from Hikada Shouko's manga, but I think OVA would be better! First because most of her works are shorts. And second because even if there are not so much sex scenes, some of them are important (Arashi no ato). I would love OVA for Arashi no Ato, Signal, Tarinai jikan Nanahikari sounds interesting but even if it's still ongoing, I never saw one volume on bookshop/animate main position so I'm not sure if Takaguchi Satosumi's works are famous enough! Yellow (Makoto Tateno) also could be good (I read it long time ago), but also more as OVA since there are only 4 vol. Fujiyama Hyouta's works also could be good; but again, too short! ç_ç Thanks for the "advertising" I will check those ones! I -almost- never hear about Hashiba Maki and Kitasato Senju (name and works)! Not like I know -not even near- all of them of course ^_^ |
