Anime's basically my only source of entertainment now, ever since I got REALLY into it this August. That, and fanfiction.

It's just something to pass the time when I'm bored.
And I'm bored A LOT, so I guess it's an obsession now.

It's a source of enjoyment but it's not as important as manga to me.

It's saved/changed my life or gives me a reason to live and be happy.

1.)How often do you watch/daydream about anime? whenever i have free time and when i dont have free time im daydreaming about anime
2.)How much time do you put into anime?(including using MAL/wallpaper hunting/blogs/"anime research"/etc. i should have a job again soon so about 12 episodes a day atm its 26-35 a day i also buy everything i watched and enjoyed
3.)Has it influenced any of your life decisions?(moving to Asia/learning Japanese/etc.) i keep teaching myself Japanese but constantly get distracted by life and stop for a while but ill pick it back up and move to Japan someday

It used to be a casual thing, but now I'm pretty obsessed. (your vote)

1) All the time now, it has a lot of ideals I like.
2) I have the urge to check my anime sources all the time now like Kuroneko from Ore no imouto!
3) The biggest impact is an effect that took some time to sink in. I think anime, reading subs a lot, made me more conscious about literature in general and of course in anime. I barely criticize books, tv shows, movies, etc, but anime changed that attitude. It must be because of all those damn cliches!

Just a way to kill some time. I don't really dive into a whole series often, because I wanna have free time to do other things.
The one thing that I'd love to see is a lesbian yandere.

Anime in general changed how I've viewed quite a few things, especially my bleak outlook on Americanised television programmes. This actually made me stop watching those types of series as they came to boring me to death with how stale and repetitive it proved to be.

Now, each day I enjoy watching anime or read some form of manga/ light novel.

Quite important, I guess. It did start out as a casual thing and now has become probably an obsession, like flirting.

I started out watching and reading a bit here and there, and it turned into a full-blown hobby. Now I collect figures and stuff also. But I will go some days here and there without watching new shows or what-have-you. I have work and I go out on my free time also, so nights are generally when I get around to anime. But when other things come up and soak up my time (like the past few nights when I was playing through Portal 2), then I'll shove anime to the side to immerse myself in something else.

But generally, it's a pretty big part of my life. It's what I tend to spend most of my spare money on, whether it be on manga, anime, or merch.

I spend around 2 hours a day watching it. Kind of a stress reliever for me before I hit the sack.

Usually watch 1-3 episodes a day, then maybe a day I don't watch anything at all, then the following day 1 episode, etc. I like gaming and watching movies as much as watching anime, if not more.

Because of anime I did get interested in east-asian (chinese, korean, japanese) culture and history, especially japanese (not really anime, I'm not a hard-core fan or otaku). I think that it changed my life is kinda exaggerated. So I voted "Meh, it's just one of my many sources for entertainment."
I see dead people.

Watching anime has been a life routine for the past 3 years. I systemically watch and archive shows as they air. I watch shows I like from the the current season and choose one classic to watch on days there's no new episode.

I am that anime guy in my group of friends. A lot of my thought through out the day is influenced by anime obviously. I only watch anime and read some manga, I don't collect merchandise or anything like that. I like seeing how anime has changed over the years so I try to watch a lot of old shows in the same genres as the current season's hits. anime :D

This fits me very well. Before I'd watch about three episodes per week at most, but now? in comparison, I'm digesting series in large gulps.

Back when I started watching it regularly, I archived everything onto DVDs. Genre didn't matter; my first two shows were Green Green and Berserk -- I devoured it all and could pretty much watch 12 eps a day with ease. Just like movies taught me good base english (inofficially second foreign language, officially the third), anime made me interested in the japanese language and the country as a whole, and more than that how people work etc. In retrospect I know it did a lot of good.

Nowadays I don't watch it nearly as much, and I don't mind. I feel pretty much everything has been seen (save the world, good vs. evil, monsters, magic & fantasy, romances, thrillers yada yada) and few shows tend to interest me enough to start watching them. It's a form of entertainment, just like sports, movies, books, writing etc. are.

So yeah, I guess you could say I went from being obsessed to pretty casual.

It's a casual thing. Keeps me sane along with video games.
With college I have so much to do and I'm constantly doing work or busy in class, watching anime is my leisure time where I can just kick back, relax and enjoy the show and forget all about that stuff momentarily.
Touch me, you filthy casual~
