Not really. I never didn't enjoy an anime, so my lowest is a 5 with Hen Zemi, and 10s on ones I really like. I don't put any thought into it. It's more for my own personal benefit for how much I liked an anime in general. The one exception is when I raised my ratings on School Rumble the second time I watched it.

I change my scores based on what I have seen generally the scores go down overtime as I experience different anime from a similar genre.

lol Most of my ratings are based on what I remember from a few years ago. So yeah, I think they have all had long enough to "sink in".

If I recently remember certain parts of whatever anime I've already watched or if I'm currently watching, most likely but I rarely change the ratings on mine.

I change my scores whenever I feel it's not right upon looking back at my list. Now I watch an anime and update my MAL straight away.

I have changed scores when I skim through my list and find something that shouldn't be rated as high. Usually after some time, I can judge some series more objectively than the moment I watched them but never big dif!

Like some people said, I sometimes change my ratings after I had a little more time to think about it if it really deserved that score or not. Sometimes I can forgive some of the mistakes since I still enjoyed it and raise the score, but other times I lower it, because it wasn't as good as I first felt after it.

Not constantly, but yup. Usually I rate things in the heat of the moment, like "Oh my god can't believe that just ended that was so good!!1!1!!" But then I go back a few weeks later and sometimes downgrade some anime, usually only by one number. I rarely give it a higher number.

I don't usually change my scores, but when I do, fuck No. 6 (or I just re-watched something or have started to think about it more, but mostly fuck No. 6).

Yes, because my taste changes and I became picky...
I'm also very biased so don't mind my ratings

I tend to play around with my ratings a lot when I think back on the series and realize it's faults.

Im used to give high ratings after finishing an anime but months later i realize that maybe it was too high so i tend to update my ratings frequently.

I revamp my ratings every so often since I apply my scores relative to the best series. Then again, scores are next to meaningless to me.

I almost never change my ratings once I've set them, unless I go back and re-watch something and either enjoy it more, or less. Then I might change the score accordingly, but even then that is rare.

Occasionally I do because I tend to give higher ratings to things that I just finished and enjoyed than they really deserve. Then I might go back later and adjust it; however, if I do, it's never anything drastic. I only alter ratings by about 1 or 2 since the original scores are usually pretty accurate to how well/poorly I think of the show (I just exaggerate sometimes).

Giving ratings is tough, really. I'm always so unsure! I give something a certain rating, but then I think: "Hey, wait, I gave that other manga the same rating but it was way worse/better!". And then my head crashes XD It's like I should re-rate all the anime/manga in my lists each time I watch/read a new one. But it's impossible, since my list is not small (neither huge, but it has more objects anyway).

Only with ongoing animes and the other ones I'm watching. I did change some ratings on completed animes once, that was because when i first got into MAL, i ended up giving high ratings for some animes that in the end didn't deserve it.

I do go back and change the scores to some not all.
I usually review my list and make changes as needed but there are some series in my list that are untouchables, those I will always leave alone.

All the time.

"Oh, my mean score is too high"

"Oh, I've given out too many 8's"

"Oh, on second thought my favourite show sucks balls"

No, because the initial feelings I had when I originally watched it may differ from those in the future. I like to look back and see how much I liked a series, re-watching it or re-rating it would ruin that for me.

This is a good point, now I regret changing all my scores.
