| Out of the groups that are posted, the Yato are the strongest. But Gintoki is the strongest single character right now. Though because of the story, the Yorozuya is probably the strongest group if it counted, they will always find a way to win like always. |

I am sure Takasugi can match up with him pretty well, and Gintoki should not be able to hurt Kamui, not the slightest given what we've seen from Kamui's attitude, and he was just chillax when Gintoki fight Hossen, from that we could somehow know that Kamui is a lot stronger. | Kamui is the strongest IMO. Gintoki is probably the strongest Samurai but we haven't see Takasugi fight seriously. For female, its quite hard to say. Kagura is strong, being Yato and all but I think Tsukuyo or Nobume can fight against her on equal ground. Brute strength isn't everything. |

| There is new character from the manga that can curbstomp Nobume,Kagura and Sougo at once. He's probably the last boss. He's on whole different level than Oboro which debatably stronger or equal to Gintoki and Takasugi. |

| Kamui fks all of em' Gintoki and Takasugi are nearly equal. And as Umibozu and Hosen were once even and since both have aged may have had weakened. Gintoki won vs Hosen only because of Hyakka's repeated interference, a cheap shot and the sun. Otherwise, Gintoki would have died at least 3 times while Kamui fought Hosen on equal terms. Even then, I believe he was holding back... |

| It's hard to tell, I might think inaccurate but... 1. Umibozu and Housen - They are said to be on the same level during Yoshiwara arc 2. Kamui - Not sure, but he might be as strong as Housen or a little bit stronger... 3. Otose's husband - He won against Jirocho 4. Jirocho - He defeated Gintoki and the second battle wasn't really a fight between Gintoki and Jirocho on their full strength, just tried to destroy one of two things which Otose's husband belonged to 5. Sakamoto and Katsura - According to Gintoki and Takasugi |
| For me its.. Group: 1. Ketsuno clan and Yato tie. At a distance, Ketsuno wins. If Yato slips in close, Yato wins. 2. Jouishishi and Shinsengumi tie. 3. Yagyuu 4. Ninjas Individual: 1. Gintoki and Seimei tie. At distance, Seimei can just remove his balls again lol. If Gintoki slips in fast, he'll win. 2. Umibozu and Hosen tie 3. Kamui and Kagura (Yato mode) tie. 4. Jirochou - 2nd fight with Gin shows that with a regular steel sword, Gin owns him (Jirochou was surprised he didn't kill him) 5. Katsura-Takasugi tie. 6. Jiraia 7. Sougo-Kagura (normal) tie. 8. Hijikata-Kyuubei tie 9. Tsukuyo-Hattori Zenzou tie. 10. Sa-Chan and Shinpachi tie (He took down Jirochou's daughter quite easily). I put Gintoki over Hosen because even though Gin needed help defeating Hosen, it is shown that almost everytime he got a good opportunity, the sword or whatever weapon he picked up shattered like glass or broke like twigs. He must've broken 3 swords and 1 spear in that fight. If Gintoki was given a good sword (e.g. one forged by the swordsmith Tetsuko), I believe he would've killed Hosen without the sun. Also, the rest weren't really much help at all, just cannon fodder that were one-shotted by Hosen. |

| If by strong u mean fighting skill, then Utsuro Umibouzu Kamui/ Kagura Yato mode Hosen Abuto Jirocho Gintoki Katsura/Takasugi Kagura/Sougo Oboro Sakamoto Zenzo Nobume Kyubeii Hijikata But if u look at physical strength/endurance, then Utsuro Umibozu Kamui Hosen Kagura Abuto Gintoki/Katsura/Taksugi Jirocho Saigo Sougo Sakamoto Oboro Nobume Hijikata -Umibouzu would be my number 1 if it's not for Utsuro's immortality. Umibouzu is an active alien hunter so I personally think even with Kamui below him the gap between them is still quite big. -The Yato clan is known to have youthful longevity, so saying Umibouzu and Hosen have weakened since they have aged is inaccurate. -I don't know why people even ask, but Kagura IS stronger than Sougo, especially considering that she's 14 with no fighting experience but still manage to stack up against a trained samurai. Even in some of their friendly rivalry moments Kagura's the one who gets to outwit Sougo but never the other way round, like in the Yagyuu arc and the Ski Trip arc. That maybe Sorachi's way of hinting that Kagura> Sougo. -Whoever said Gintoki>Hosen need to go back and watch episode 145 and see how Hosen was laughing at Gintoki and the Hyakka's attempt on his life right before the sun came -Whoever said Gintoki>Kamui is obviously delusional. -Why do I see Tsukuyo in this thread? All she can do is throw kunai. I think Sa- chan is stronger, being both an assassin and a ninja. -I still feel that I need to slip Otae somewhere in my lists |
