| Kittan going off on his own for Team Gurren, yes! I wonder if Kiyal is going with him since they used to combine before. I never paid much attention to Leyte before this part of the series but I really enjoy her even though she's just a side character. YAAAS BITCH YAS YOKO IS BACK. Can't wait to see her kicking ass along with Kittan, Simon, and Viral. |
| It was nice to see a different side of Rossiu. He's still a bit of a butt, though. Lordgenome's frank remarks concerning the Gunmen made Rossiu sound pretty stupid for scrapping all of them. (He even wanted to scrap Gurren Lagann. What the crap, man?) Yoko's return was predictable, but I'm glad to see her again anyway. Nice episode. |

| I had forgotten that Kittan was actually a useful character. I think that people that don't understand the hate for Rossiu are focusing too much on the why and not the how. Yes, his actions are justifiable and he's trying to look at the big picture. He's certainly more qualified to be a government leader than Simon. But his treatment of Simon was cowardly. He should have had the stones to say to the people that they were acting like a pitiful mob and forgetting that their entire safe and happy lives were obtained only by Simon risking his life again and again and again. Without him they be digging holes in caves . While removing Simon from power was the right choice, sentencing him to death in a farcical trial was all kinds of wrong. The kind of thing the Gestapo or the Inquisition would have cooked up. He should have been permitted to stay in house arrest or the like in the view of his unequivocally distinguished service. But Rossiu chose the easy way out of appeasing the mob. |

| In the past episode, Rossiu was the embodiment of the absolute belief that the means are inferior to the end no matter what but being faced with the harsh revelation of only being able to save 1/10 of the population made him do things he absolutely shown guilt of doing but was seen as necessary which made me sympathize with him more despite all the dick moves he'd been doing. Trying to scrap the Gunmen could've been the end of them. Good thing Leyte maintained them instead so they'll have a fighting chance. Kittan was just heroic in this~ That shotgun last stand made him more likable. Nia was all about the ZETSUBOUSHITA!!! Yoko's last-second entrance was very surprising~ I'm glad to have her back. |

| Rossiu effectively represents the antithesis of what Team Gurren was all about; overcoming the impossible and defying all reason. He's become calculated, rational, and reserved in his decision making. I just love how Kittan is finally like "This new government crap ain't working for us, I'm out." Prior to the timeskip, Kittan felt more like a sidekick. But damn, he's such a bro now. Yoko's return was also awesome, completely forgot about that part and jumped back a bit when she shot at Nia. |

| This whole episode was a big Biblical reference. Rossiu is even more disgusting than before. Oh look I'm the leader I have the authority to decide who dies and who doesn't (of course I won't die because I'm the leader). Viral is even more likeable than him. I hope at least Yoko didn't get spoiled. |
