You detest both main characters? I think that links to most of what this story has been/will be. So you'd be hating most of the plot. I'm pretty sure you knew this was coming, come on anyone could have seen this "cheating" from a mile away. As I feel exactly like Batossai, I'll add few words to this. In my case, I liked and supported both Eba (because I like lively and straightforward characters like she used to be at the beginning) and Haruto, like u usually do with male shounen manga protagonists. But. Seo-sensei made me almost hate Eba because of her actions, but I kept reading because I still liked Haruto and began to like Asuka, because, again, she was lively and straightforward character, sort of "Eba 2.0" in my eyes. And in the latest chapters when Haruto himself started to act like Eba I began to dislike him too. So, yeah, if I dislike both male and female protagonists of the character oriented story I truly don't have much reason left to keep reading. But. If I followed this manga from chapter #14 week by week for almost 3 years now, it is a given I will keep reading just to see the closure, no matter what. |
