 Diana Wynne Jones, author of the novel Howl's Moving Castle, passed away from cancer on March 26th at the age of 76. Jones wrote over 40 books for children and adults. To those who only know vaguely know of her because of the butchered up movie that was Howl's Moving Castle, do yourself a favor and read some of her work. You won't be disappointed. |

| I finally watched Miyazaki's adaptation right on the day she passed away...and I even thought I absolutely want to read her books... I was so enthusiastic when talking about it with a friend yesterday night... This is so sad... May she forever rest in peace. |
