I loved Howl's Moving Castle. may she rest in peace.
Only hope can give rise to the emotion we call despair. But it is difficult for man to live completely without hope. In other words, man has no choice but to live with despair as his companion.

RIP indeed. She was an amazing author, and I'm now going to have to make it my job to collect ever thing she's ever written. Because she's that great.

To those who only know vaguely know of her because of the butchered up movie that was Howl's Moving Castle, do yourself a favor and read some of her work. You won't be disappointed.

Anyway, this is sad to hear; may she rest in peace.

I really suck at saying anything profound or useful when someone passes away, so I hope it's enough that (for me, at least) her memory will live on in her works. Best wishes to her family.

I finally watched Miyazaki's adaptation right on the day she passed away...and I even thought I absolutely want to read her books... I was so enthusiastic when talking about it with a friend yesterday night... This is so sad...

May she forever rest in peace.
