It's still imcomplete since there are two more part of the manga still not adapted .

I understand, but the fact that it earned a second season increases the chances for it being fully completed by a lot. I was more worried that it would never be concluded, as I do not like to feel as if I'm being forced to read the manga.

I've only watched the live-action (which was so-so IMO), but since it's so highly anticipated, I guess i'll start the first season after all.

Yay! At last!

At this rate, 2011 might end up being the best year for anime in a while (2009 and 2010 were not great years IMO), regardless of Ishihara attempting to ruin the anime industry. Of course, that might just be me being overly optimistic, but more Kaiji cannot be a bad thing.

My thoughts exactly.

This news really made my day. I got interested about Kaiji (and Akagi) when the mangaka behind them visited Desucon, the best anime convention here in Finland. Turn out that both of them were great.

Even if they never animate a third season for part 3 of the manga, part 2 is a really good place to end it, especially compared to the way part 1 ended.

with the first season,i was so disappointed, the first half of it wasn't that bad. but as long as you watch more it doesn't make you feel that this is the one ... akagi from the same director and mangaka is more better ... i think i'm not going to watch this :(
