| It was a pretty simple ending. But i still loved it nonetheless. However it just makes you want another season >//< Or at least a movie sequel. None of those recap ones. |
| Series is pretty meh overall. I liked it early on as an episodic series. The "time for serious" arcs were just sorta anti-climatic for me. Every time Yakumo palmed his face I couldn't help but lol at it. As far as this ep goes, I'm just glad Nao didn't get the bullet ;P And Haruka never ceases to be annoying and oblivious as usual. |
| I thought it ended well. Sad that Isshin died but at least Nao isn't alone now that she's family with Gotou and wife. Aww @ Yakumo shedding a tear for Isshin. That was a nice touch. Overall, not the best adaptation there is. The manga is still way better though. |

| It's subbed now. Simple but effective ending. As soon as i saw the other red eye i knew he had put on Isshin's contact. Really happy for the cutest anime character of the year Nao finding a good family. Overall i quote enjoyed this series, they could have made Yakumo's dad into a much better antagonist, his story ended up being weak. Meh 7.6/10 overall. Want a season 2, can't see us getting one though. :( |

| The ending was ok. And for the last time, we knew what's the motive of Yakumo's father. The doctor is just lol. "It's a perfect season for an autopsy." xD Gonna miss that sad ED. As for the series, I have to admit there are meh scenes but still watchable. I'll give this around 6 or 7. |

| I really liked it at the beginning. But when it came to the end... I was expecting more. I feel like it was a bit rushed, in some ways. Oh well! I enjoyed watching it within the span of two days haha. ^^ |

| I like that Gotou took in Nao. That fixed his relationship with his wife, and now they're a happy family. Kind of two birds with one stone deal. The series as a whole is ehhh. I was teary-eyed when Yakumo was talking to Isshin. Haruka is so lifeless. Recommended? Watch if you've got nothing else. |

| It was all right. Classic happy ending with everything going back to normal. Definitely not original, but something everyone is happy with. I really loved the music, animation, and voicing in this show. I'm glad Nao got to be with a good family. And she's started talking, too! Despite all the cheesy parts I enjoyed this. It's an average show whatever way you look at it. Now, a 6 or a 7? I can't decide. |

| I think this is one the best Fall 2010 Winter Animes ending. Although this anime somehow lacked information ... for example, did they even solve the ghost that asked "when are you gonna do" problem?" nope, they didnt, and i dont think they need to right now. It could have been a better ending. But overall I think this anime deserves a 7/10 or 8/10, in my opinion, that is. [Random note: Yakumo is more awesome than either L or Light Yagami] |

| Awesome. Sad. Not the best ED ever. :/ I almost cryed when Yakumo started crying in the end. T.T I felt so sorry for him. he is so kind. Vary sweet of Haruka to hug him like that. ♥ [..I might read the manga now, but i heard the manga art is diffrent from the anime so..] |

| Bland show, could've been so much better if the direction was right. Frankly, this was the only episode where I cared for any character, and also the only time I felt any suspense thanks to that first scene where Gotou was shot. And that scene where Yakumo assures Isshin's spirit that he's fine was probably the best scene of the show. The OP was my favourite of the season, to be fair. Oh, and Nao is adorable. I still don't get it, though. Yakumo's father had been a spirit all this time? How did he manage to get Yakumo's mother pregnant? And why did that lady - Nanase - say she loved Yakumo? I thought she loved the father? |

I can't decide. give it a 6. it is an average show. i would give it a 7 except that it's basically a really poorly constructed Ghost Hunt and the fact that haruka is pretty much a useless and annoying character. yakumo's father and nanase miyuki also made terrible villains. and the actions of the characters defied common sense. the characters at times are quite stupid just standing around waiting to be attacked and/or rushing straight into danger. it wasn't until the end that i also realized that everyone likes to make long speeches at the worst times (ie haruka when yakumo was tied up, nanase miyuki when she threatens them, yakumo after he "defeated" his father, etc). any supernatural stuff and mystery was poorly handled and forgettable. it was an okay show to watch. i had pretty high expectations for this, but it fell short. so much potential just wasted by poor direction. i'll go back and finish the manga since it was so much better. |

| even though it lacked at some parts it was one worth watching in my opinion. you don't really get to watch this kind of anime with deep feelings, 'coz I really think that the accent wasn't on the action but on the character's feelings. anyway it made me want 2nd season damn!! |

| Nice ending and a nice Anime. Isshin's death was sad but it seemed he wanted it that way, and that that girl was saved because of it was also touching. Yakumo was very forgiving with that part. That Nao would be adopted by Gotou and his wife became clear last episode and made this show a little better as well. They look like a nice family together. It's a shame that they didn't show more on Haruka's and Yakumo's relationship in the end tho. |
| Meh, it was ok. Sad to see that Isshin died, but happy to see that Noa got a family and she even looked like she's starting to talk. I don't know about the manga, but the LN is much better. I can't decide between a 5 or a 6. |

| Well, what can I say? Beginning half was a terrible disappointment (much like the whole show actually) - if he was possessed it would have been much more interesting. Instead some stuff about him being strong and not alone, then his father disappears way too quickly. That's the problem with this whole series really -_-" Meh well, the second half was OK. Funeral to Isshin was pretty nice, the characters were OK except for Haruka. I don't understand how Goto's nod to her means "OK go stalk him", I mean really? Her character really lowered the enjoyment value on this Plot was like meh, there was none really, but at least the animation was nice. There really wasn't that much mystery / supernatural stuff (there was some, just not as much as I'd hoped). Not that enjoyable for me ... 6/10 |

| I don't think the plot was bad, but it just couldn't hold my interest at all. I thought Yakumo's repulsing his father was anti-climactic. I think the characters are great, i love yakumo and gotou, but they weren't very effective on a whole. ep.- (Average 5/10) |

| Not a terrible anime. However, nothing really could hold my attention, and I found myself bored more often than not. Also, I never understood why this anime fell under the "horror" genre. Because if it was supposed to have scary or disturbing scenes, it really failed on that aspect. I can only assume that the light novel is much creepier than this anime adaptation. Anyway, I'll give this a 5/10. |

| watched this last episode with a heavy heart. awww I can't believe Isshin is really dead. I was hoping for a miracle. Am a little irked by the open ending. First Shiki, now this. I wish at least Nanase Miyuki is confirmed to be dead. But nooooo they can't find her body. I find it touching when Yakumo excused himself from the others to converse with his uncle's spirit. even more so when we couldn't actually see Isshin. |
| ]I wasn't expecting his father to try and take possession of him, that caught me off guard and almost redeemed an otherwise bland and uninteresting villain. But the surprised was ruined by so easily telegraphing that Yakumo had come out on top. Yakumo's father and his assistant getting away kind of left this conclusion feeling partially disappointing it but at least still had the strong emotional finish between Yakumo and his loved ones. There was way too much expositional dialogue at the end going over all the details anyone who'd been half awake during the last few episodes would already know. Overall I think the series had a lot of potential it didn't live up to it. If there were a second season I'd give it a shot just because the potential is still there and I liked most of the characters. 6/10 |
