I'm a person of fairly eclectic tastes and will give most anything that looks good a try. That said I definitely have a preference towards darker shows with great action, well-crafted characters, and a compelling plot. Preferably without any of those being sacrificed.
One reason I'm such a big anime fan is it's unfortunately rather hard to find any of that elsewhere.

The fairy tail arc is starting to progress a bit now. :) What do you think of it? :P I can ensure you, this electrified Natsu is NOT what I meant with epic. The arc will become hell'a more interesting than this if it dares to follow the manga. ;)

Ohai.
Well as you can see I have somewhat of a different scoring system(yes I know it's weird so yeah). I would say it would get a -1 on the score if not for the music. FT's music is just amazing and there's no episode that I don't enjoy listening to it.

Let me reassure you, this fairy tail arc is the most epic arc ever made on fairy tail. You just need more patience. :) I wont spoil but I have read the manga. This is just the slow growing opening of epicness.

The Monster Rancher and a couple of the other entries are misleading. I mean I watched a few eps more than five years ago on cable and I'm not really making the effort now to watch them again.
