| Series had a bit of a slow start but the first major villain is pretty cool, and I'm wondering why Phoenix has 'dark' versions of four of the Saints' cloths. Do all the cloths have dark mirrors or is it some power of Phoenix's? It should be fun to watch either way :) |

| Wow, Saori paints her grandfather as a really kind man, maybe I had the wrong idea. Still, if he didn't expect Ikki to go crazy through the means of some fate magic, sending one of the kids to Death Queen Island seems a bit much. I enjoy the foreshadowing of a war against Ares, something other battle shounen I've seen don't tend to do enough, and that in mind maybe forcing the orphans to harness their cosmos around the world wasn't such an awful thing to do. It clearly is for the orphans, but as a goal to save the world when it needs saving, well, you can't blame the guy. I don't have high hopes for the four heavenly knights of darkness. They seem like 1D carbon copies of our cast, just with bootleg powers, who will die and never be seen again. That being said, their fights could be awesome. I'm assuming it will be mirror matches: Pegasus vs Pegasus, Dragon vs Dragon etc, which would be great, but it would also be interesting to see them fight different opponents as well. And is the implication of this that every star has a good / evil variation? I'm wondering if we'll get an explanation on these evil carbon copies. I feel like Kurama from Yuyu Hakusho was definitely inspired by Shun. Both are feminine cute boys with long hair who use whips and are considerate to others. |
| all this matter of "train kids very hard" doesn't convince me :( shun said it passed 6 years since that but still.. i need the whole picture damn it! gfsdfgsdgsdfgs said: I don't have high hopes for the four heavenly knights of darkness. besides that, it seems strange to me that only four out of the 12 saints are developed throughout the story damn it 🤔 and ikki comes and goes not being very friendly to them. |
