| Natsuno father is such an asshole D: The best scene of the episode was the confrontation between Natsuno and Toru. It's very frustrating to watch what have become of these two. Natsuno & his mother are likely going to die slowly :< Kaori's father is so dumb, forgetting that Megumi was already dead (she look hot in her new outfit in addition of her parasol :3) |
| OMG SHIKI IS BACK hfsjgfiugsdflhflkjdhsfljkshlfh. ahem. now... so much frustration in this episode! Like i've said MANY times before: this anime has kept me guessing constantly and I have no idea what to expect. Will Natsuno become a shiki?! He was/is the main protagonist, so I'm not sure. I'm also hoping we see more of the doctor & priest next episode.... I want them to kick some ass. i <3 this show. i like the OP song; I dislike the ED song. |

| New OP: Animation is awesome, but the music sounds like a typical, generic J-pop song. New ED: My first reaction was "why is Natsuno naked?" but the song itself is great. I love it already. Anyways, this episode was pretty decent. Natsuno is such a tsundere though; yelling at Tohru one minute and then offering his blood as if everything is going to be a-okay the next lol. But wow, they must be trolling us if they're really going to take ANOTHER break next week :( |
| I like the new OP. Poor Natsuno. T_T I'm liking Akira the more I see him. He refused to abandon Natsuno, despite knowing the dangers. And I especially liked his, 'I'd rather regret staying than regret running away' remark. But the fact that I like him probably means he's going to die soon. T_T Aww. Tohru + Natsuno angst. :( Natsuno telling Tohru to drink his blood..kinda not the smartest move for someone claiming they don't want to die... SkyCrawler said: ^This. | That were the longest 3 weeks in my life! Well not really, but they were long. xD God how I've missed this show! And it's back in full glory now with awesome new OP & ED. I love both of them. <3 I think the opening animation is just a bit less amazing than the first one, but I guess it'll grow on me. ^^ Oh Tohru-chan. <3 I feel so bad for him and Natsuno. TT___TT The part where Tohru chased Natsuno into the forest and Natsuno offered to run away with Tohru was so touching! I was really hoping Tohru would accept. I don't want him to turn into a Shiki. ;__; |

The current ending is better than the old one, though XD Anyway, watching Natsuno's father is pretty interesting because I'm pretty much the same in real life, I don't believe in the supernatural and religion, so it makes me wonder if I wouldn't react the same if all this would happen to me. I would have at least called for a doctor when my son is dying of anemia @__@ Natsuno's mom is definitely under influence of a Shiki, influencing Natsuno's father in not helping his son, same tactic the Kirishiki dude(y'know, GACKT) used. Also, when Natsuno offered his blood to Tohru, it was an act out of desperation. Just look at how he reacted the whole time, throwing crucifixes at him and throwing the stake and hammer away. (Also funny how he suddenly as all that with him while he ran without a bag or something like that) Natsuno wanted to believe that they could still be friends and that's why he offered such a desperate resolution. But Tohru was unable to control himself. |

| I can't believe it's back!!But the anticipation was totally worth it.The new op is even worse that the first one..Poor Natsuno and his mother..I agree that his father is a fool but Natsuno is a bigger one.Why does he "offer" himself so willingly?He odes know how to protect himself..But instead he runs in the forest tempting Tohru to drink his blood..I guess it's the name's fault..Yuki from VK did exactly the same thing with Zero. I'm so looking forward to the next one.. |

| New op is meh New ed is much better than the previous one although my first thought was "What the hell..." I find it weird how we were all criticising the mother a few weeks back over letting the shiki in when his father didn't trust the girl and now here we are, criticising the father over yet another stupid decision. I want to see a blood-sucking Natsuno now before realising what hes done wrong. |

| <Insert obligatory praise of the great music> New OP was ok, I prefer the previous one though. ED is better than previous. Natsuno is stupid to just throw the cross and stake away like that. I thought he was better than that. And I know now where he got that stupidity. His father is even stupider with his actions here. Just...uhhh. But it was nice to see some scenes inside the Kanemasa house and that Kirishiki going out in the light. I chuckled at Mr. Tanaka realizing too late that Megumi was dead(she's really astounding in that outfit). So Toru is going to deal the final blow now. Wonder if Natsuno will rise if he died. And I wonder who is attacking the mother. A great episode despite the stupidity of the characters. |

| New OP is good separately but very unfitting for this series. New ED is great. Hope that they put about 20 chapters in last series but hope for it is too small ((( |

| So it's finally back. Natsuno is getting closer and closer to death. Really i find his weakness against his specific friend very pathetic. For the love of God his a guy you met a while ago not the love of your life(except if his gay), why is he so weak in taking the necessary measures to save his life? His mother is gonna accompany him to the crave it seems. And his father is overdoing it. Sure i realize he doesn't believe but at least he could stay by his side at night just to make sure. BTW what happened to the doctor and those previews we saw where he was experimenting with his wife? |
| Love love love Shiki. Hate the new opening, the old one had much better music and creepier animation. The new ending is awesome <3 The way Natsuno's dad behaved made me feel so frustrated. Can't wait for the next episode. |

Why was Natsuno able to still interact after being bitten? I understand he got a day of recovery but he wasn't controlled at any point. Still an awesome episode. Dad, I am disappoint. As far as I've been able to tell, they kill their victims over a period of time. I think Natsuno was just bitten once on that night, but Tohru chickened out of doing it again until Natsuno finally provoked him, which is why you see his health rapidly deteriorate suddenly. |

| The new OP is ok but the old one was better. The new ED is ok. I'm a little disappointed that Natsuno was this weak , even if he loves Tohru. Megumi was so lovely in that dress. |

| haha i dunno why but seems like everytime (srsly!) my tastes are different from the rest of the people here in MAL.. oh well.... cause from what i read from some comments people don't like the new songs.... *sighs* You know what? In my case I don't love them, I ADORE them and I don't care If every single one here will disagree. AMAAAAAAAAAAAAZING, fuckin epic music, both for opening and so for ED song too. They are so emotional and intense and they fit the series greatly. I loved the previous songs too, but I love the new ones as well. Also amazing episode!!! I didn't believe it ended with such a cliffhanger. I wanted to watch more!!! T.T At least I'm glad the hiatus is over. |

Although I admit I loled too with your comment, I don't get the same feeling from the OP. In contrary I find that this high pitched voice of the singer together with the quick pace and all created a quite dynamic and mysterious atmosphere. It is more eerie and emotional than a theme for an action anime. So, always in my opinions, it fits greatly. I think I like the first opening a tad more, but still I really liked this new one as well. The animation in it too, especially the starting scene with blood running through Sunako's hand. PS: Sth I forgot to mention before. Natsuno's dad pissed me off SOOO much. Dude that's not how to treat your child when he's ill. You should stay by his side like ALL the time, especially when you see he's about to DIE! meh... he even through away the protection charms... *baka da nee!* |

| From turning into skeletons to spirits leaving the body...I still find the OPs wierd. But the new OP's song is nice though. Anyway the characters don't look that flat and dead unlike last time, they seem to look much better now. Also, the shikis are all LIGHTSTICKS!! They totally glow in the dark XD |
