This is a fucking GAG anime, there is NO REAL romance in gag anime, and there NEVER WILL BE, that's how they are, they're not serious, everything is a joke, all the characters are wacky and are always doing crazy, illogical shit. Fail at everyone who thinks that this is a serious anime where romance can actually happen, for more reference see SAYONARA ZETSUBOU SENSEI, a gag anime that ACTUALLY has funny jokes, and doesn't do the same idiotic sex joke every FUCKING episode.... |

This is a gag anime, gag anime are not to be taken seriously, gag anime doesn't feature real romance between characters. It's true I thought this anime was fucking idiotic, but not because of the storyline, or the characters, it was because they did the same idiotic sex joke every episode. This is how SYD was: "Hey Tsuda 'enter normal dialogue' followed by masturbation, or Cum joke" That's what the series consisted of for 13 episodes, Yeah I could've found it funnier if I was a 15 year old kid who laughed at every immature, sex joke this anime presented. There were other elements that were better, for example Suzu being so small, Aria being rich, the cool looking teacher, that girl who has a fear of boys. BUT NOOO, they had to stick with constant unfunny, horribly placed sex jokes which didn't even make sense half the time. |

You know the funny thing is when I insult this series and people come to it's defense instead of defending the series they insult me, I don't insult anyone, just the series. Nobody questions the fact that it DID have repeated sex jokes for all 13 episodes, nobody gives me any real explanation for why this series was good, other than they think it was funny. Which is fine, we all have different taste, I found it stupid, others find it funny. BUT at least if you're going to insult me, at least give me some GOOD explanations as to why my comments are incorrect, I want to hear people say why they think that using the same jokes for 13 episodes makes a series good. |

| Apart from the standard lulz that I get from watching SYD, the "let's watch over him like a yandere would"-part was terribly hilarious. And when the souvenir suddenly was something else. xD Damn I really need a second season of this. |

| Whaat? This show was beast. All you little kids don't understand how many different things were being poked fun at during the course of the series. Social norms, plot devices, character models, etc. and of course the sexual innuendos. This show was masterful writing and great artistic demonstration of that said writing. Not to mention the voice acting was great. Narrow minded ones, forget about these aspects and focus on what they want from the series. Then in turn, curse it for not giving them what they are looking for instead of taking in and enjoying the show for what it is. This show is classic victory. I don't think I'll ever come across anything like it that isn't some hentai or something with bad story. p.s. Yokoshima-sensei and the gum was hilarious. xD |

| It had lots of jokes and viewpoints on japanese culture, norms and poked fun at sterotypes such as 1. Introducing new characters in a season finale episode 2. Romance anime (the whole sister/baseball routine, is straight out of some generic romance type anime) 3. Rich girls, posh maids It added some random chemistry between the main guy and the girls but it was never harem like (unlike other anime) despite the obvious sexual inneudos. More importantly it wasn't afraid to make fun of itself and the whole 4th wall thing. Also @alexcampos no offence intended but your profile implies you want people to troll you with this whole "I got 6 years experience watching anime" but I hate a lot of anime - I mean who gives a shit? |

I'm not a fan of the Shino/Tsuda moments because the two characters just don't have that kind of chemistry IMO. After all, during the whole season Tsuda would mostly hang out with Suzu, which would really point out that he just prefers normal people. |

| Well apologies if I got wrong impression but thats how I saw it. Different viewpoints on same subject - same for anime. I probably wouldn't have gone into a rant, but you replied twice on severely disliking this anime (I think the usage of swear words which indicates a strong emotion didn't help) when normally one comment is enough/edits of original message. Also I think pretty much everyone here, has given reasons for liking this anime and if its just a sentence or whatever thats fine. I watch anime just to relax and chill out - this anime achieved it and it made me laugh so I scored it highly. Also although it was recap episode they did squeeze in some original content i.e. new character, the random magical girl/rom-drama parodies. |

Well, I applaud you for having this view point, I also like to think of anime as entertainment instead of something serious, in fact that's how I usually rate my anime, on how much it entertains me. However, If you think my comments are annoying or trollish, then I advice you NOT to go into the following anime threads: Bleach, Naruto, HOTD, or for that matter any other "Popular" anime. My comments are very MILD compared to the HATE that you see in the anime I mentioned above, and trust me the discussions go on for MANY PAGES. Although to be honest, maybe I said some explicit language which I shouldn't have used, sometimes I get carried away, I don't have any ill feelings towards fans of this anime or anyone who thinks highly of it. |

| this show proved to deliver more than it was expected too (unlike many other shows) thus, i believe this was a great run, and i am sad to see it go. it was truly a genious at comedy, and really... a lovely ecchi jokes anime. because it delivered so much, i gotta say itw as a a refreshing 10/10. impressive comedic sense makes this anime great. |

| Yeah, first half of the ep was normal Seitokai pace, but 2nd half was a wtf moment LOL. Yeah the whole series was entertaining and funny throughout, but this last episode felt like it was lacking something... Tsuda x Shino moments! yes i kno its more comedy series, but still.. if it leaves the Tsuda x Shino relationship open for viewers like that, I'm hoping and somewhat expecting a 2nd season (also cause of what Shino said at the ending) :D ep13: 4/5, even though it was weird during the latter half series: 5/5, funny, entertaining, w/ some romance too :3 |

But seriously, you're entitled to your opinion, and while you may be able to point out flaws and inconsistencies in a show, 99% of the time you won't be able to persuade fans from liking it. I like this show because I thought it was hilarious and I loved the seiyuu. Nothing can change that. Going into an episode forum to discuss and debate the merits and flaws of a show is like going into a middle school and saying how terrible Twilight is. Personally, of the 224 shows/ovas/specials/movies I've watched, I gave 5 a 10/10. Tomoyo Chapter was really 9.5, and Isshoni Sleeping is clearly a joke. I believe 3 of the 224 things I've completed are deserving of the title "Masterpiece". That's just my opinion. |

| all right over all, i liked the humor in the show, and for the most part it was pretty damn funny. the last ep was a bit of a let down, but at the same time it tried to go out with a small bang at least. it gets a 7/10 for me, nothing great, but it always good to pick up a random ep to watch on a rainy day |

I gotta agree with you there, when I started watching SYD, I had low expectations, but it proved me soooo wrong, its definitely a 10 in my books. Can't wait for Season 2, if it comes out :) |

Well, if you are referring to me, I have to say yes, my life's pretty boring but that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy comedy. Check my list and you'll see many comedies rated 8 and 9 - like Zetsubou Sensei, Arakawa, DMC, Baka Test, Working etc. I just didn't enjoy this series - I only found the Gaki no Tsukai reference funny. I don't really like all that perverted humor. |

I mean if I dislike/get bored with a animation or infact anything in general I drop it regardless of other people's opinion because I've got better things to do then watch bad animation. I got more issues with people who troll and hide their anime lists as if though its something sacred i.e. a database of text. So yeah if you didn't enjoy, fair enough, just don't play a broken record. |

| The green jokes from this series is quite fun to apply to school (too bad I've graduated) but I would like to try Sensei's way of joking with sleepy students in class. *Earthquake trauma *Robot part (vibra) Hagimura's funeral schedule, want to take a picture now haha *Robot inspiration *Small vibra for Hagi *Mushroom Well, Why I like the 2nd part.. it's because I dropped this series at episode 4.. then made a comeback now I appreciate the some made up recap. Hakuouki Season 2 yey.. Nice season 2 for SYD too! Damn! I just knew just now what the title meant (Student Council Staff Members) so in the beginning I was expected much.. Lesson learned search the english version title before watching haha |

Well, I DID enjoy the first 3 or 4 episodes, in fact I had the anime at an 8 at the end of the field trip episode, Don't get me wrong there were about 4 episodes I truly enjoyed and thought were good. Besides I stated to really dislike the series around episode 11, I couldn't just drop it with only 2 episodes left, I wanted to see how it would end. BTW, this may sound shocking or even weird but, I actually enjoy the manga of SYD, I find the sex jokes to be better done there than the anime, not to mention that since the manga is short, it doesn't seem to repeat the same jokes over and over the way the anime did. |
| This show was very interesting. At first, I hated, and I was over all the perverted jokes, but as the series progressed and I was more invested in the characters, I began to really enjoy it. I loved the random skits mixed within the main story... This last episode was just OK to me, because I disliked the recapping (even tho it was a little off) and I wanted the Council Prez to admit her feelings to Tsuda. Overall, 7/10. I would watch a 2nd season. |
