| I really love this series :D Ranka is really nice but I hope for Sheryl x Alto. The songs always sound refreshing and really cool, too bad Ranka seems to control the Vajra with her singing. I wonder when they are going to find out about that and how they are going to handle it. :o |

| Ranka threw a Minmay doll at Ozma :3 Why would Sheryl think that Alto had her earring or something like that (also the wiki says it's a keepsake from her mother, which was not mentioned in the episode, I think; it explains her wish to meet with Alto back in ep. 2 and her obsession with the live recording; her comment to Grace is explained by her implant)? By the way, Alto should've just hid Sheryl in the locker, he had no need to go there himself. It was his locker room after all. I don't think Sheryl and Alto hid that well after the locker room scene, they were walking almost in the open. So Grace has a camera implant in her eye?? Wow. That explains Sheryl's comment to Alto about erasing her naked image from "optical memory". Though didn't Sheryl become aware of the earring in the bathroom, not thanks to Grace? Sheryl is adorable, I was pausing this episode way too much. And that poem (or song lyrics) on giant panzu haha Regarding Vajira...wasn't it told in the earlier episodes that they can "hack" the controls? So, did the 117th fleet accident happen 11 or 19 years ago? Ranka's impromptu band (or rather the instruments they were playing) was/were certainly a callback to Fire Bomber! Did she write the song herself or was it one of Sheryl's? It also seemed to have an effect on that Vajira...Was it awakened by Ranka's song (or maybe some song waves)? I witnessed something like a human silhouette appearing on it...and then it folded. The episode was probably partially a callback to DYRL and Minmay and Hikaru's date there, and it was awesome :3 P.S. What's with that Luca's reaction :P I wonder why Mikhail rejected the offer to search for Ranka together...Maybe he likes her and wanted to be alone? But again, he said he didn't want to deal with family business... |

| Eh, where did Ranka find that mic? Doesn't getting a mic and a full band concert level sound system out of nowhere defeat the whole point of what she was supposed to do (sing by herself)? Of course everyone stopped and listened to her. Either way, finally an "idol anime" in which the songs are actually good and not generic K-pop trash that sound like they were created by slapping together random overused melodies. So far, I'm liking this way more than the original Macross. And what's going to happen when Ranka finally becomes a pro? Because every time she sings, those Vajras show up. Imagine her songs blaring out of malls and her doing concerts. She's probably going to be the cause of another full on alien invasion. |
| I never noticed that Macross 7 missed out on really showing non-micro Zentraedi and humans living together. It's quite hilarious and fascinating to see the two managing to create buildings, spaces, and even societies while maintaining the size differentiation. |
