| I like this show, a good deal of suspense, action, and drama. Plus I never really have any idea what's going to happen. I guess I should have seen Zero biting Yuuki but it wasn't until after that scene I went, oh duh, that makes sense. I have to say though, unless there's some new plot that picks up I don't see how this would be 26 episodes. That said, I know it is 26 episodes so it has to introduce something else... |

| *non-manga reader here ^^* Yuuki made me roll my eyes in the town scene. I mean, chasing after a kid who didn't want his balloon back, and then, when in danger, running into an abandoned building? Not so intelligent. As for the bite scene at the end, it was all right. They haven't been very subtle about the Zero is a vampire thing, so it was kind of expected ^^; It should be interesting to see how Yuuki and Zero treat each other after this, though. |

| Seems the series picked up a little. I think I prefer this series when its not focusing on the high school 'antics' - the town sequence was kinda cool. The animation however was very erratic, I thought the fast-panning through town as shes following the kid-vampire was pretty eye catching, however this was let down by the incredibly jerky bell-toll and the hideous scene where Yuuki falls onto Zero (it looked like it was done in still frame, even though im SURE thats not the effect they were aiming for). That said its not an unforgivable crime, just irksome that they do something quite cool, and then couteract it by with some lousy animation later on... |

| This episode was...different to how I expected it. As much as I like Studio DEEN, I'm disappointed that the inconsistant animation is popping up again. I don't really give a damn about the animation/art in the long run, but it's art is an important aspect that adds to the dark tone that the manga has. But hey, I only read 9 Chapters, so I'm not going to compare to the manga that much in a few episodes time. As I've said in the past, I like Studio DEEN's inconsistancy and experimentation with animation and story presentation, but for once I hope that they can try and keep a constant level of quality. Granted, the entire part with the little vampire kid and his companion was actually a bit scary. And entertaining too. Though the events that led to it does bug me (like Kineta said earlier in the thread). At least with this episode, I'm finally intrigued to keep watching. It took me more than a month to find the time to watch Ep 2, and I believe that the story is really going to pick up now that 'the first bite' has happened. I didn't think the bite was THAT anti-climatic, but yeah, I did expect a bit more from that scene. WOW. Long post is long. |

| Wow, I love the music, animation, atmostphere, everything, I swear I love this show man! I was expecting half of this to occur though, but still, I really like what's going on. To be honest I really thought, Yuuki finding out Zero being a vampire would come into play much later...guess not? Kaname has the ability to make Yuuki into a vampire too, ;o I can somehow see that happening, ohnoez. |

| That was awesome. The animation of the wild vampires could have been better, but apart from that, this is great. I'm kinda ashamed to say I fangirled through most of it. The bit where Zero bit Yuuki was... oddly hot... O.o |

| really liked the voice acting towards the end of the episode. the TL note at the beginning of the episode about tsukkomi. meh it bothered me more than it would have if they just put the whole explanation on-screen. |

| I loooooved this episode. Specially the town part, it was really creepy :) When Kaname saved Yuuki, it was just lovely and when Zero licked her neck, so sexy xD Can't wait to see what will happen next! ^^ |

When his voice cracked as he said "yuuki" after he realized what he had done, my heart broke. He was so disappointed and sad. ....I must watch more. |

| Aaaand Yuuki continues to be useless. Seriously, why does she even carry that stick if she's just going to drop it and get saved by someone all the time? Still, it wasn't that bad, actually kinda interesting. Even if the exposition - especially Kaien going on and on about how Kaname is special - was really clumsy. |

| I like the animation of this show quite a bit. I didn't expect the other two vampires to take out the level E one. That surprised me. I also thought it would be later in the series that Yuki would find out about Zero being a vampire. Although it should have been apparent in the first episode when he said he could smell her blood. None of the other humans can. |

| Ok he is really a vampire. But most importantly ... WHY in every anime I watched mit some sort of "similiar" story (girl main char surrounded by a lot of boy blablabla u get me, not talking about the story itself) the female main char has to be so fu**ing annoying? WHY? I mean she should watch the school and is the most useless thing you could immagine urgh. Beside this little thing, another really good episode |
