| That woman does look awfully like Nina. I can't imagine why she'd want to turn around and assassinate the old man though. The next episode previews doesn't look too promising for Grimmer. I hope we'll get to see what's on those tapes. |

| We got some pretty useful information required to decipher the entire story. The parts that Johan was a monster before Kinderheim 511 were already known for quite some time. But what we did not know is that Kinderheim 511 was a good place. Children there were taught to love. It was a like a real orphanage. But few things are unclear. The killer is the first one of course. There are only 2 possibilities. Either it is a person we have not seen in this anime before, or it was Johan's and Anna's mother. I am sure it was not Nina, since she could not even kill Johan with clean conscience. The fact that she killed the maid completely nullifies the option of Anna. Now why would it be their mother? The most obvious reason is that we know she is in Prague and that she has a motive. Revenge for making their son into monster. We could assume that she did not see Johan as a monster before he left her. Because if she would have seen Johan as a monster before that, she would not put the blame on Mr. Petrov and Kinderheim 511. This leads us to a very interesting conclusion. Either Johan became a monster in a particular time span between leaving his mother and coming to Kinderheim 511, or he was hiding it from his mother. If it is the later, we could assume that Johan actually loved someone or he had a particular reason to hide it from his mother which we do not know about. If he became a monster during that time lapse, it would be very interesting to know what made him that way. Because what could actually eliminate all human emotions since we assume he was normal before. One thing would be that since Johan is extremely smart, logical reasoning that emotions are useless could erase them. I am not talking about few sentences, but a complete brainwash using Johan's intelligence as a main anchor. |

| Until episode 38 for some time I was thinking that perhaps Nina and Johan are the same person. They were never shown together really and Johan would be the monster inside her. That's why Johan and Runge keep repeating that Johan is a person who doesn't exist. When the twins disappeared from the hospital, it was the boy who was actually always innocent. Why would Nina/Anna have followed him to disappear at that time if she was the good child? But then they were in the burning library together so that disproved my theory. Except if we saw that scene through Nina's perspective, Johan "leaving" just when s/he was about to be shot by Tenma? So seeing the long blonde hair in this episode made me again wonder if Nina's the killer after all. Obviously something is being withheld from the viewers. It could be the mother too. It's good that the series has picked up a bit again. I do still think the pacing is really off with this, with many unnecessary side plots and main characters being forgotten for several episodes for the sake of a small revelation. Also, the story relies too much on characters not having common sense. Maybe they will wrap it all up by making all the little stories meet but I don't think that would make up for the slow progress up until now. |

| Interesting Episode. About Episode: So Grimmer tried to get director to speak about human experiments that were made in Kinderheim 511. So this experiment was success. The hotel scene with Grimmer running was funny he just waved from those mans haha. So Director was responsible for Kinderheim 511 And he was also one who interviewed Johan and after that Johan took control of Kinderheim 511. And made darkness in those experiments. And director wanted to create humans that doesn't have darkness inside of them. It also looks like Kinderheim 511 was destroyed 1951. Now that is troublesome who was that woman who looked like Nina. Because Nina haven't been told anything about Kinderheim 511 and she don't know what they did Johan there. Or maybe she was spying and heard Grimmer's and directors conversation that would explain some of it. But I believe that isn't Nina. 5/5 |

| finally we're getting some good info :D first, Grimmer is smart to fool the people following him. though i don't get it why they wanted to eliminate Grimmer just because he knows about Petro. if he's experiment is all about love, then why is he eliminating someone through force? so the the orphanage is actually a kind one. the experiment probably wants a 100% pure love with no violence. though i don't know how rumors spread that it was an asyllum for bad children. since i remember one of the early episodes when Tenma talked to the lady who's running a good orphanage that Dieter was supposed to be left said that Kinderheim 511 was really a hell prison. so Johan could be a born Monster? or was he influenced by his mother? and the killer is definitely Johan and Anna's mother for sure. first, i noticed she has much longer hair, plus why would she kill the maid? she Anna s only after Johan and nothing more. anyways nice twist here! i do wonder if Wolf, one of the directors did in fact made Johan a monster or something. can't wait for more episodes!!! |

| I too think the lady was Johan and Nina's mother, because they looked a lot like Nina and it wouldn't makes sense for it to be Nina. That Kinderheim was a good place is quite a shock. I'm already liking Grimmer's contribution to the story. It's too bad the old man died. I can't help but wonder what sort of man he really was |
| So from what I can see, what Petrov did was justified and if that were Nina, she would have no motive to kill Petrov and his assistant. But the real question is, was that really Nina? Or perhaps Johan or even their mother? The plot thickens... So we've learned that Grimmer is most definitely not always happy like it seemed at first. At least we know he isn't completely bonkers. This episode was awesome. Hope we get more of these episodes that follow Grimmer. 9/10 |

| Grimmer sure knows how to question someone, I'm impressed. There's no way Anna would kill Petrov and his assistant so dispassionately. As others have theorized, it was probably her biological mother. I've noticed that her hair color is kinda hazel, while her daughter's leaning towards fawn. |
