| The episode was good. We got some plot development, but the thing that Johan was a psychopath before he was taken to 511 Kinderheim was clear a few episodes back. I predicted this in last episode's discussion topic. Tenma's next goal was revealed. He will now look for general Wolfe. The one who found Johan and brought him to 511 Kinderheim. It seems that Tenma has changed the path at which he will try to find Johan. Before he met Hartmann, Tenma was trying to follow Johan's murders, and try to catch him this way, while also collecting clues on the way. Now it seems, that Tenma will try to understand the story of Johan, his childhood, etc. BUT! He arrived to this town on purpose. Johan's last murder took place here. I think that Johan has predicted his movements, and is now playing with Tenma. Then again, sucha a genius like Johan would have a motive to play with Tenma like this. I wonder what is it. I did not understand one thing though. What was Hartman explaining at the fire? About how Johan convinced those people to kill each other. I need to rewatch it. Edit: rewatched. Oh, he was speaking metaphorically. How did I miss this the first time. So, as I suspected, Johan was manipulating people psychologically. At such a young age. This proves the vastitude of his genius. |

| Woah a lot of stuff got cleared. About Episode: So they were brainwashed in that 511 Kinderhaim orphanage and Director had strange accident there. They got also everyone fighting there and all of those children went out of the game. I knew something was off when Hartmann became into that Hospital where Dieter was staying. Too bad that nurse couldn't do anything there. Also Hartmann facial experssion was scary as hell. Good thing that Tenma looked into Hartmann's files and found out that Johan was in ten years ago 511 Kinderhaim but he was still psycho. And plot got also moved forward Tenma discovering that General Wolfe is one who now all information regarding Johan. When Dieter was in that chair and knocked up I feel bad for him. Also it seems Hartmann is definitely one why Johan is psycho or it made him more in that way. It just really terrible that Johan was smiling when he watched all those other children fighting each other. Good thing Hartmann gave up and now Dieter want's to come with Tenma and Tenma is going to try find more about this General Wolfe. Great but sad episode 5/5 |

| really excellent one! damn hartman is soo relentless. so we learned that this wolf guy is probably the one that made Johan crazy? finally dieter making a decision himself! man i thought Tenma would have to shot Hartmann. guess he just wanted a crazy child like Johan. and wow scientist and all the orphanged killed each other just because he predicted? what is this O___O ohh i though Dieter would go to the Orphanage 47 with Elna Tyce. so Dieter decided to come along huh? so that's why he is in the opening as one of the main characters ^^ really enjoyed the story and how it's portrayed! been awhile since i saw an anime has done so well ^^ next episode is gonna be ace!! |
| great episode, im watching in dub and its a phenominal dub, sure you got to put up with syfy's shitty watermarks and ads but its pretty worth it to hear liam o brian's excellent portrayal of tenma and he really shows his range in this episode when he was able to yell and raise his voice while making it sound natural, really talented VA |

| Great episode. This gave great insight into the type of person Johan is. It's interesting that Johan was a psychopath before going into that orphanage. |

I am loving this series, I really expected Dieter to get his head blown off and Hartman to get shot (twice of course) and tumble down the stairs but was nicely surprised to see Hartman's emotional breakdown instead. Really wonder when Tenma is gonna fire that gun and really awesome character to not have used it yet even though he could have a few times now. |

| So liberating to see Dieter getting away from his abusive "father"... His reaction is way more precious than Hartmann getting shot by Tenma if he ever were forced to do so. I could hear imaginary applauses when Dieter walked down the stairs :D |

Many abusive people don't understand how their actions affect others. This doesn't excuse it, of course, but it can explain Hartman's confusion when Dieter "rejected" him. Fifty people... that sounds like a nightmare. Such a place doesn't sound inconceivable either, which makes it all the more chilling. I'm still looking for a source of Johan's behavior. It's just not natural to be that twisted and dark at such a young age. Something would have to have influenced him in that direction. I'm so glad Dieter got away. I feel bad for him since Tenma's trying to leave him. It's not that expect Tenma to drag a kid around while he's chasing a serial killer, but being left all alone after being in such an abusive environment would suck. |

| Finally a wham episode! Just what I needed to watch before I head to bed! That old bastard got what he deserved. Good job Dieter for leaving that asshole of a foster parent. Watching that old fucker wallow in his own shame was the most satisfying thing I've seen in recent memory. "DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!" Awesome episode! Hope we get more of these wham episodes soon. 9/10 |
| I thought Deter was dead already, glad I am wrong. I wonder how Johan was able to be nice with his sister when they were young, yet still have this twisted brain. How on earth did he become like this in the first place? Also, why does he want Anna back? I don't think he is planning to revenge by kill, probably want to enjoy watching her get scared forever?! I Guess I have to wait to see what happens I miss Anna already, show what happened to her :( |

I pity Dieeeeteeeeer because he endures such a thing at the early stage,got fed up with bullsheep ideas on how dark the world is instead of enjoying his youth. I got sad when Tenma tried to leave him at the bus stop. Good thing he's coming with Tenma. 10/10 brilliant episode! |

| I really want to understand what was running in Hartmann's head. Why would he abuse the boy he loved, and then cry and cry and be unable to accept that the boy didn't love him back? He can't have honestly believed the world was such a dark place that he was training Dieter to face it. Initially, I thought it was out of repentance for Kinderheim that Hartmann was raising these children. Was he actually trying to recreate the orphanage instead? Does Hartmann just hate kids in general? I can't make sense of this. |
