| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- How OVA is very weak and the times are not well defined! It has potential to be some better, but how evolved the plot it was inconsistent. A half way between Ecchi, Horror and Adventure but undefined and explote. I read that it can be a prologue for a new movie, I wouldn't say it's a prologue if not a long fragment of a movie just. |
| What was the point of this? it feels like it starts in media res thus it doesn't even work as a prologue, it's more like a 22 minute commercial for the movie coming out next year. As for the ova itself, I thought it would be like a modern Mars of Destruction and thus I really wanted to watch it, but it wasn't even that. It takes itself too seriously and thus it's not unintentionally funny like Mars of Destruction, plus it has more nudity and gore (nothing too extreme thou, at least this ova, don't know about the manga), so yeah, I say it's worse 'cause is more disgusting. Let's see about the movie coming out in 2020. |
| 22 minutes OVA and 2020 movie very likely around 2 hours? And then after that? Doesn't sound good at all. |

| Ok that was sort of awesome in a bad way. I am going to watch the movie next but figured I would watch the ova as well. Looking forward to horrible CGI insects and b movie style. LOL |

| Didn't thought something with a similiar setting to 7seeds could outdo it in being much worse but here we are. For a prologue ova (I guess) I was confused on what was happening (even having read the description) and why they all acted so irrational. Don't really have a problem with the oversexualization happening nor too big of a problem with the low quality animation but I really hope the movie does a better job with the plot. EDIT: seems like this ova is incorporated in the movie, so this makes it kinda pointless |
