 A teaser trailer for Evangelion: 3.0+1.0, the fourth and final Rebuild of Evangelion film, debuted throughout theaters in Japan on Friday and revealed that the film will premiere in 2020. The trailer will continue to screen in theaters until August 31. Production company Toho and animation studios Toei Animation and Khara will jointly distribute the film. The first film of the tetralogy, Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone, premiered in September 2007. The second movie, Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance, debuted in July 2009, and the third film Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, opened in November 2012.
