| I saw that twist coming a mile off O_O Unfortunately no one can replace Kamina but Nia does a passable job and isn't a bad characater from what I can see. I hope they cheer up a bit though. Kamina's death is the single saddest moment in any anime ever that i've seen. |

| Simon and Yoko are getting on my nerves a bit. I mean, I understand why they're acting the way they are, but still... the OP changed? Dangit, the first time I actually skip it and it changes! D: Nia's voice annoys me for some reason. It's so high pitched it hurts my ears! She seems like an interesting character, though. |

| I don't really like these emo and depressed characters. The episode was interesting thanks to Nia's first appearance. She's so cute and i like her voice. It seems a bit too expected she's the Spiral King's daughter... |

| Shinji was far worse in his depression. Not to mention he got said depression for about half of the Evangelion episodes. Also, Nia is cute ^.^. |
| In a way, I'm a little disapointed in Yoko's actions. Simon has a completely rational reaction to Kamina's death. He loved him like a brother, and Yoko loved him romantically. Shouldn't she be all depressed like Simon? I get it she wants to be strong and all, but the girl needs to break down sometime. I think Nia is so adorable, I'm glad shes no panzy like Simon at heart. Hahaha, I guess since Kamina is gone we need another strong character to fill in his spot. I'm still upset about it, btw-_- |

| Good after-death episode, and even though Yoko held some interest in Kamina, I don't see why she had to be THAT upset. At least, Simon has more of a right to be more upset about it than she does; it seems like he's known Kamina his whole life - I'm guessing since they lived in that same village underground... I like Nia. Maybe she can help Simon out of his grieving-ness. Hopefully she'll prevent any YokoxSimon-ness and we'll get SimonxNia instead... :P Wonder how it'll go over with the DAI-Gurren Brigade and Simon that she's the Helix King's daughter? |

| there are a lot of things i liked about the way this episode was handled. aside from the shit art (yeeesh) i like simons reaction. i would be really pissed if they all just got along with life really easily. this will finally make simon grow up. nia is perfect for him. i loved that little meeting they had it was so cute. yoko makes me really sad. im just pissed in generally they killed off kamina. he was by far the best character and now what is yoko's real purpose? im interested in how this is all going to pan out. |

Getting over the death of a loved one is not something that can happen quickly. That is understandable. But I'm sure with Nia and the others by his side, he will get through it. I'm glad that Yoko, though heartbroken, has resolved her own feelings. |

| Tough to see Simon pretty much broken in this episode. The new character Nia could possibly be his saving grace, but her just falling right in front of Simon just seems to be too convenient. Who knows? btw, I just realized Kittan's gunman looks like a giant banana lol |
Poor Simon.. he is probably the last person who have the hardest time to get over Kamina's death since Kamina was the most important person in his life now and the only person who kept him motivated until the end... But I hope he will get stronger and tougher.. [sigh] I miss kamina already. No more crazy stuffs and blabber..  |

| Mmmpf another boring episode. So cliché and predictable. Hero now goes all berserk. Yoko still doesn't care a damn bit about him. Then comes a girl to cheer up our hero. Oh wait, she speaks and looks like a human but never knew what they are oO Ah it's alright, as we saw, some of the general and even the spiral king himself looked like humans. Guess what the girl is his daughter, what a twist ... Wait it was written all over her face. ... Basic shonen tropes all over again. Maybe they were trying to self paroding or take all the shonen clichés to appear good, and as Naruto and Bleach were the shit at the time it seems to have worked seeing this anime rating >_> Another episode before I drop this I guess and switch to Fate/Zero... What a major disapointment this anime was. Guess it's good for a shonen amateur, but after having seen so much, bleh it feels the same over and over again, no surprise, no excitment... I got more fun watching Infinite Stratos :/ |
