Nice episode with Zazie as the central figure

Good news is i think we will see Gauche again next episode, even though in flashback..

Hope for new season with the real manga material though, wanna see Aria in action

Episode was all about Zazie, my favorite character, which made it good :D

Wonder when they'll get to the plot since there are only 6 episodes left. I was hoping that they will reach the part and and the anime where they'll meet Gauche again. Well, I'll just wait and see what happens...

Wow...only 2 comments....and I was later than usual watching this show. Not much to say about this episode. Hope for some more overall plot elements and maybe another season.

Yikes, not much discussion latley. Did many ppl stop watching? That's sad, I like the show. ven though it did go away from the manga, it's still nice.

Nice episode, with the way it was more about Zazie. I really enjoyed it. In the beginning of the episode, I started to get the feeling that it was going back to the manga. Even tohugh it didn't exactly go back to the plot, i wasn't dissapointed. I liked the way the episode was done this time.

Aww. Zazie's cute when he blushes.

I'm really starting to like Dr.Thunderland. He sort of reminds me of Stein from Soul Eater in a weird sense.

&I wanna see Gauche..not just in a flashback. I really don't think they're going to get to him or his part of the story with this series ): Unless they make a second season more dedicated to that side.

I really loved this episode, it's gotta' be one of my favourites so far.
I love Zazie, so that's probably why I enjoyed it so much.

I agree. I hope to see Gauche soon. If he doesn't show up soon, I'm sure there will be a second season.

Here comes Lag crying again xD...Actually it wasn't a bad episode I think, and I also like Zazie so I quite enjoyed it.
And in next episode we'll get some Gauche finally...

Wow I finally get back to watching this after several months and wow...this show lost most of its viewers didn't it?

I blame the boring storyline and the FACT THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING.

I'm just gonna finish the last 5 episodes for the sake of finishing it.

I loved this episode^^ I really don't care if it was a filler or not this time. Zazie is great and I loved that bit of character development for him. Besides, it was an exiting episode with a decent fight scene so it was good. Zazie <3

(Yeah, it actually seems that the best episodes are the ones in which Lag cries xD)

This seemed like an overly complicated episode to me. I like Zazie, but his gambit made little sense to me in this episode. It has been already heavily implied that he loves killing the bugs, I guess this episode beat us over the head with this fact.

What I really didn't like though is the borderline negligent management of the Bees. For example, why did Aria let Lag's unit go on this mission without any backup? If the threat in the area injured Zazie, who is Lag's senior, then how can she assume Lag's unit will not be overwhelmed? She could have gone after Lag in secret, which would have been a great opportunity to show her in action.

And after Zazie leaves the infirmary to go after Lag, Aria and Lloyd just proceed to stand around in the room. They didn't seem to have anything better to do, so why not go after the two kids to at least check on them. Unless Lag is literally invincible and the management, including Aria and Lloyd know about it and just prefer to keep it a secret from Lag and everyone else... Or they secretly have a way to track the position and vital sign of each and every Bee on a mission so they can provide them with assistance at any moment...

Lag also annoyed me a little at one point. He seemed to be more excited to learn that Zazie didn't just throw the letters away to save his life (which would have been perfectly fine in my opinion anyways), than about learning he survived at all. Lag's strong resolve and conviction have been charming so far, but in this case his priorities seem a little weird, to be honest.

Meanwhile the whole episode seemed to be framed in a way that made it seem like Zazie's life was in danger (he promised at the beginning of the episode to try the Gomenis' new bread and at the end of the episode he showed up and said he was glad he didn't make Lag cry or something like that). This dissonance of priorities just left me annoyed with Lag.

Just like before, my main gripes with the episode isn't that people make questionable decisions. It's that these things aren't addressed properly. Not every mistake or bad deed needs to be called out, but in a title where things like that are treated with more subtlety, the execution needs to be better, too. Sure, later episodes could potentially follow up on these things, but since so far that hasn't been the practice... I have a hard time believing that.

It's silly to analyze episodes to such a degree, but the lack of attention to detail really bugs me. And since this show is not exactly going at breakneck speed, it's way too easy to find things like these to complain about. Also, the soup joke is just repetitive at this point. I wish they would get more creative than this.

But at the end of the day, Zazie is still a fun character to watch, he's grown on me. So, despite all my whining above, I actually thought this episode was okay.

So Zazie still cares about the letters but im kinda confused by his logic. Pretty weird episode.
