Such a good episode!! Great build up and also some great strategic thinking of Avilio. Depending on the next episode, I might even give this show a 10!

Very good episode. I find Vincent vanneti far more redemming than Nero vanneti and Barbero. He regret his actions and decide to sacrifice his bestfriend for his goals. But he doesn t want everything to be pointless that killing Testa lagusa allowing him to achieve something which was peace between Vanneti and Galassia.

But Angelo destroy that rendering Vincent efforts and killing Testa and Angelo family pointless. On other hand Nero is jerkass who think family name is more important than anything Even more than friends and family. I think Nero should die even If he succed in Killing Angelo. The Galassia will still eliminate him and his entire family.

In the end of this story Angelo true winner with Galassia being runner up while Vanneti will be destroy and are ruins.

Holy damn, that was a crazy episode. Avilio's move to kill the other Don instead of the Vanetti's was a smart one. Can't wait to see how all of this will end next week.

God DAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMNNNNNNNNNNNNN this episode was fucking crazy! Killing Don Galassias was a smart move on Avilio's part, that pretty much resulted in the epic fucking of the Vanettis and he didn't have to do a thing. It's always cool to see shows where one person manipulates everyone else like they're pieces on a chess board. Avilio is freakin smart and he played all of these guys, can't wait to see the big finish next week.

It's incredibly ironic how Angelo's goal has been to avenge his family, yet, now he made the very death of his family pointless. In fact, Angelo almost BECOMING the very people he wants dead, has been a recurring theme:

-Killing an involved man under Nero
-Killing someone's brother
-Attempting to kill someone's wife and daughter
-Killing his own BROTHER (even though he still did it to stay alive)
-Everything he did at the playhouse.

It'd be so awesome if someone would really start calling out on Angelo's hypocrisy.

I feel like this is going to end in a bloodbath with all of the families being permanently crippled once it's over
"I like young-girl sexual creations, Lolicon is just one hobby of my many hobbies," he says.
I ask what his wife, standing nearby, thinks of his "hobby".
"She probably thinks no problem," he replies. "Because she loves young boys sexually interacting with each other."

Not really you are not seeing the picture here. What he did was justfied. Vanneti family needs to be punish for what they did. Vincent might have good intentions It wasn t excuse for him murder Angelo entire family.

Though I agree about the list of your recurring theme that he is becoming the very people he wanats dead,But can you blame him?. Regardless what happen Angelo have this win even If he kill Nero or not Either he will do it or Galassia will do it for him.

WOW a total blood bath this episode. Avilio so broken that he's got nothing left to lose.
Damn Del Toro getting stabbed 3 times & still managing to take down 2 people.
Avilio finishing it off though.

R.I.P Barbero. Betrayal everywhere.
Ganzo & Don Galassia are dead. See ya.

Nero out to get Avilio.
Final ep next week. Lets see if anyone makes it out alive.

Excellent episode, Avilio played them all.
Really smart move on his part to go ahead with killing Don Galassia thereby destroying the entire Vanetti empire.

I can't say I was completely surprised by the events that happened as this much was expected but the presentation of the events was really well done and the soundtrack was great.

Not sure who's gonna survive next episode, Probably no one.

What a great episode! The last 3 episodes of this series have really started to hook me into its story. I honestly suspected Angelo would have killed Vincent right there and then, but killing Don Galassia took me by surprise! It was a smart move as he's turned both the Vanneti's and the Galassia's onto eachother. Even if Angelo doesn't succeed in killing Nero next episode or dies, he can be rest assured that someone else will do the killing for him, satisfying his desire for revenge.

Can't wait for the last episode.

This episode started off as if it might be somewhat calmer, but it quickly became one of the most brutal episodes so far. I also did not expect that twist at the end, and I was admittedly confused by it until I saw the rest of the episode. Avilio is nothing if not devious. Even haunted by the ghost of Corteo, he still is able to manipulate everything.

Curious about what Strega will do to Avilio now. I'm expecting now more than ever a very tragic ending. I guess we'll see next week!

Angelo came withe plan: to end the mafia, to make them kill themselves!

Now, the cherry on the top of the cake: Nero going after Angelo, who hopefully is going to finish him. Anyone who had a glimpse of hope that Nero was not that bad of a guy now probably sees he is just as a filthy pig as was his father, uncle and this whole scum called mafia. Well, you could already see how he killed his brother and didn't care (which is consitent with the way he tells Angelo to kill Corteo and with his words to Vincent this episode), so it was fully expected.

I'm so glad the animation was ok-ish again this episode. I can't believe HOW GOOD this show got. It just makes me SAD how people think shit and cheap anime like RE:ZERO is a good MATURE show (and not a torture porn, plotless, waifu bait), when we have TRULY mature mafia theme RIGHT HERE!

I am EXCITED AS FUCK to watch the last episode and to see how they wrap up this story.

Avilio's plan was perfect. In the midst of a double crossing, he went and did a triple cross to make both of the families turn on each other by manipulating everyone! Damn didn't expect this many plot twists. It is an all out war now.

So the plan was for two goons to kill the guard outside the dons' door and then Angelo would come to save the day, evacuate Galasia first and then kill Nero and Vincent. That plan fails when the guard ends up being a bit too stubborn and Angelo has to finish him off only to get caught by Barbero. And Ganzo shoots him in the head, has Nero called and Angelo uses that time to go towards Vincent.

But Angelo had other plans in mind. I did not expect him to only kill Galasia over there. He killed Galasia which results in the Galasias attacking the Vanettis. Things turn into a bloodbath as both families start killing each other. The Galasias believe that this was all the Vanettis plan and the Vanettis are just protecting themselves. The very family Vincent killed his friend to protect is now getting destroyed because of the son of that friend. Angelo just ruined everything with a few bullets. What a brutal bastard. Nero's best friend just took everything away from him, just like how Testa's best friend took everything away from him. That was pretty cool. Strega is liking this development because it means that they can get rid of the Vanettis and he can take over the family. It wasn't what was planned, but it still works for him. Now Nero will be after Angelo, the person who betrayed his trust and ruined everything he worked so hard for. And Strega will probably be on Angelo's side because thanks to him, he is now taking over Lawless and Chicago. This gonna be cool.

The greatest episode of this series so far until the last I hope.Del Toro was a beast he took on two guys who stabbed him and then he died by Angelo.Angelo kills Don Galassias so the two families will start killing each other(thus he indirectly killed Ganzo) and making Vincent suffer in his last moments, because he realized that Lagusa's death was pointless.Let's see how Strega will be finished before the final confrontation between Angelo and Nero.

What a twist! I mean, why kill everyone yourself when you can just let everyone else kill each other instead? I can certainly understand Avilio's thinking here, and with any luck next week will be the final confrontation between Nero and Avilio to bring this bloodbath to an end. I wonder if anyone will be left alive when all is said and done though, as no doubt Avilio has also got the remaining Galassia's to worry about.

You seem to be mistaking Angelo for someone who wants justice instead of somebody who wants revenge. He just wants to destroy those who killed his parents & not stop them from doing it to anyone else

Plot twist after plot twist. This show keeps getting better and better, even when it lacks any urgency or intensity. Avilio has basically condemned the entire Vanetti family to hell, and it was so fun to watch. Best kill was when the uncle shot the blonde glasses dude in the head. Man that was awesome!

Looking forward to the end next week. Here's hoping that Avilio will outlive Nero at least, if not survive the entire ordeal.

oh god that episode was just orgasmic.

After reading news (very badly as well because I obviously got the information wrong), I was willing to wait for the double next week, then it turned out it was only a channel that was postponing. Threw a twitter poll and glad majority vote was to watch this week.

DAMN ANGELO, BACK AT IT AGAIN WITH THE SAVAGE AS FUCK DEMOLITION EY?

Oh my god. I was so heartbroken to see him sleep deprived and spacing out after what happened last episode (RIP Corteo; you weren't my favourite, but you sure were Angelo's). Hallucinations are usually a bad sign, but this is as close as we, the audience, gets to seeing inside Angelo's mind. Corteo was someone Angelo truly treasured.

Oh, and those fucking twists. Del Toro was BEAST. Finally got in a few grunts after three stab wounds before Angelo takes him down on the fourth. Coward Ganzo shooting Valbero/Barbero in the head (satisfying as paranoid smart-man was becoming the irritating jealous lefthand man) and faking injury (a second time) just confirms how he took down Fango's henchman and let Corteo escape back in episode 9. Someone on reddit mentioned that Angelo must have told Ganzo to suggest to Nero that he was going to snipe Vincent with a rifle from the opposite box. THIS was to set up Ganzo in the same place as Strega, who warned him prior that if anything happened to Don Glassias that shit would go down, and which shit did, and got himself backstabbed by Angelo then satisfyingly killed by Strega. Not nicely put, but you get the point. Perceived as a Vanetti henchman, and a core member at that, Angelo started another mafia war.

Angelo used so many people in this show. He's gotta be the best MC out there without some amazing ability he was born with or some incredible persistence just because he's the MC. He's been written and fleshed out so well and we still don't know what kind of shit goes on in his mind. He's really the greatest.

And the title... "All for nothing"... at first, you think, Angelo's revenge was gonna fail and everything down the drain, but fuck nah, it was Vincent's 7 year effort of trying to keep the Vanettis from being absorbed into the Galassia by killing his best friend, Angelo's father. Yeah you done fucked up man. Just when he thought he could finally be at piece, he died from shock after Angelo killed Don Galassia, which would end up with the extermination of the Vanettis. Vincent's dream playhouse became Angelo's slaughter house.

Now, that post-credit ending... Angelo seemed to pass out in an alleyway, most likely from exhaustion and blood loss. Strega found him, but not before hallucinating about Corteo again. If all goes according to the visuals, Angelo and Nero are gonna have a face-off in one way or another. Angelo probably wants death because everything that he lived for is now gone (Corteo and 3/4 of revenge). I am going to be so sad when this ends, but hey, here's to the dub and improvement in the blu-ray.

Wow, the art took a great hit once again. I hope they're able to pull off episode 12 without major issues. An ending with bad animation and art would suck so much considering the build-up.
Nevertheless, very interesting developments and the fact that Corteo's death gave him a trauma makes him even more human. On the other hand, Don Vanetti seems to be regretting his actions. Everything is the mess now. Who will fall, who will prevail? Will they both kill each other or will Angelo win the duel and be shot after that or commit suicide. Angelo also questioned his murders. Will he even be able to pull the trigger? Episode 12 will be one hell of an interesting episode. Let's hope they deliver.
