Well MAL, it seems like Saudi Arabia has listened to your intolerant cries of other people having fun.

This is quite funny, the people in my country seems to haram-ize everything.
I really couldn't care less about Pokemans or whatever though this reminds me of the times where they promoted that Pokemon and some names of them are related to Anti-Islamic stuff ... this at all doesn't surprise me.

I really can't people here seriously these days. Important issues are buried down and trivial stuff is always on their tongues.

Fuck Saudi Arabia....like that shit hole would ever approve of something fun.....

@Nico- I heard soon enough they're gonna implement trading pokemon with other players....that's gonna make the game experience that much better.

Pokémon Go too stronk right now...it's unstoppable! SUCK IT haters!

Saudi Arabia also banned the trading cards because they were pro-zionist, apparently. Extremely irritating to see that when they have much more important issues at hand, they ban pokemon for idiotic reasons.

For once this might be the right move. Pokemon Go has literally empowered the most distracted generation to be even more out of touch with reality.

That shows why you should take information on the internet with a grain of salt.

Collapsing their economy is more efficient. If someone were to take over Mecca it messes up their tourist industry. If you get rid of reliance on petrol it destroys their economy before they have a chance to transition to invest in energy sources like they are planing.

Umm Higher education exists too, so I think you are just assuming shit. They still don't travel by camels so ... lol I hope you are just kidding.

From what I can tell this "Fatwa" is an old one from 2003 (?) where the cards were banned for being gamble like or something. Some more like on the gamble aspect of the card game and not the brand of Pokemon as a whole or what I have been seeing in Malls and big business is dumb "Come catch Pokemans here"

It is quite a trend to say the least, if games aren't making people criminals or some kind against Arabs or Muslims they are then for kids ... this annoys me to no end.

Marijuana website open tho the 2nd one didn't ... some gave me page not found and the most hilarious is scientology opened tho some non-Christan sites didn't.

I thought we were talking about news websites ... not that I mind tho don't know what is a VPN and proxy.

I wouldn't call it' heavy', just regular censorship due to political and religious influences. Censorship in North Korea and China would be 'heavy'.

Itss heavy for Western folk when its just normal censcoreship for you.

Still SA shouldnt do this in the first place even if they arent the worst offenders in the world compared to China or NK.

What makes you confident that Saudi wouldn't survey online activity?

Surely they survey for general safety so what would their higher religious police be doing all day?
