This would've still gone to penalties with the Golden Goal though. I do agree that it should be re-implemented. It adds a certain thrill to extra time.

There was that case when salty Italians got rid of a South Korean on a Italian team just because he scored the winner in this situation. It's morally right to have this just like American sports have repeated overtimes, which I think is better personally.

Golden Goal just makes the teams into nervous wrecks since one mistake causes instant defeat. It only encourages extra cautious football, which isn't exactly that fun to watch

You're missing the point here. The nervousness is spread across the whole team, which is much better than the person being branded as the one guy who missed 'that penalty'. You need balls of steel in these clutch situations, which isn't something that can be ingrained into people who've never been in that situation before. The extra cautious mentality will only lead to careless backpasses sooner or later.

I hope Wales go through. They're the weaker squad so I instinctively root for them and also as a Hungarian I currently hold a smaller grudge against Belgium :P Still, I'm counting on Bale and Ramsey to make a difference on the pitch.Guessing Bale is gonna start on the same side as Hazard so that Wales can have someone catching up to Hazard even if it means Bale's gonna have to track back a lot, I might be wrong though.

Game on

Have to say a bit baffled with Belgium's tactics here. Technically they're quite superior to keep possession in midfield yet they tried to do the one thing they know worst after scoring the goal ala, sitting back and defend. That basically allowed Wales to regain all their composure and hence the equalizer.

Proud of my boys, done well despite the referee's best attempts to fuck us over. Clearly very pro-EU/Belgian links/handed a brown envelope. Couldn't have asked for a more deserving player to get that equaliser.
