 The official website of the Winter 2016 anime Reikenzan: Hoshikuzu-tachi no Utage has announced that a second season of the series is in production. The announcement was also made following the conclusion of the series broadcast on Saturday.Reikenzan is an adaptation of the Chinese online fantasy novel Congqian You Zuo Ling Jian Shan (Once Upon A Time There Was A Spirit Sword Mountain), which is publishing on the online portal QQ.com. Tencent, the Chinese Internet company which owns the portal, is a member of the anime's production committee and also distributes a Mandarin Chinese dub of the series in mainland China. | I heard that Tencent, the company that produced this, has been doing multi-season long anime so this shouldn't really come as a surprise for those familiar with them I guess. The source material might be pretty popular in China. |

| As we must know everyone's preference is different, some poeple likes it some not. It is true that Reikenzan light novel is very popular in the chinese society, and the volumes finished. Pretty much able to make many many season. But this anime facing bad translation, and many terminologies are a bit hard to understand if you are not chinese. One of the spoilers to look forward to in the future is the romance between main character and his teacher, which is "reincarnation" type of romance. |

| Hmm.... I might need to get caught up (to the episodes that are subbed so far) to this sooner than I thought? Maybe... Was kinda of holding off due to lack of good subs and stuff, but also because I'm getting through some backlog. Anyway, seeing as I haven't started this yet, would anyone say it's worth watching right now or should I wait? |
