Since I couldn't get over what happened of all of my traumazitation over the stupidity of Guilty Crown & Valvrave, I wonder how is this show will be cringeworthy for me? I mean I don't understand why are they thought those shows are turn into unintentional comedy to them...

Whether they will have an ambiguous endings, what happened to the mouse?, off screen moments of awesome, now what? & etc (as quote from TVTropes) is really much concern me somehow.

Oh, being Skeptical, cynical & overreacting in most of anime discussion threads are a different thing to me....

Look, I'm starting to feel curious how this show (this is an original anime) will turn out even when the show ends (either 12 or 25 episodes).

I mean you have no idea what to expect next.

*Fingers crossed*

I got the same feeling. The story looks promising and interesting, but then i thought i must be careful, because this was made by the same guy that made Guilty Crown, one of the most dissapointing animes i watched. And after that, what this dude made? Valvrave the Liberator, the story of the mechas that turn a Shinji Ikari-clone into a gay vampire that needs a Lelouch-wannabe blood to fight guys that look they come from Last Exile. This guy didn't know to make anything good since Code Geass.

:) All worries are pointless now - whoever did what, how, and why, the anime airs in April.

Since I know nothing about the story, except from the trailer, I'd rather expect good animation and action from WIT. Obviously, the studio has been drilling the line of their signature anime, ... so leaning on the spectacular side sounds just fine.

Preferably I won't be seeing traced of Geass, Valvrave and so on, but .. who knows.

On a second thought, what was so horrible with the bad guys from Last Exile?

Owari no Seraph was also curiously bad and disappointing despite only having one of the major staffers that WIT likes to employ. Like I wasn't expecting greatness but I wasn't expecting it to suffer from all the same problems that Guilty Crown did either. It's not like it would have to do much in order for me to at least watch and get a kick out of an action blockbuster besides not having loathsome characters, pointless insert songs everywhere and just being completely all over the place every week with the storyline, but I can hardly expect it to meet even those meager standards nowadays. I'll probably still watch a few episodes just to see since I have nothing to lose in doing that and there's barely anything that appeals to me in an upcoming anime season yet again, but I severely doubt it meets even the low bar of expectations.

That being said, this is all about the Screenwriting & really pisses me off even more despite how sucks are they.

And yet he left us wondering WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED at the end. And that's it. The show ends, there.

Geez, I can't believe I was the only one who've been actually care about these shows so much. And I'm still NOT happy about it. Until today. The fact that anyone would use excuses to defend these shows especially who were fujoshis is absolutely disgusting and appalling anyway.

Considering they don't need to follow a flawed story* to start with, my guess is that it will be pretty good and perhaps popular. It's really hard to say you have faith in someone since nowadays anime can be pretty much hit or miss, but you never know.

*Owari no Seraph's manga is just as bad, if not worse, than the anime adaptation. My 2 cents.

The manga can never be worse than the anime itself since it's based on it and also they skipped couple things meaning anime was just terrible.

Men people are so elitist nowadays. Guilty crown and valvrave where both good show, they were entertaining and fun, yes plot hole and shit, but sometime you just need to lay back and enjoy something without thinking too much.

. Just relax, give it a try, if you like it then good for you, if you dislike it stop watching, why are you stressing yourself out 3months before it debutes, making a post about your personal feeling. They aren't masterpiece, but they were fun. You life must sucks really hard if you were traumatized by something as little as that and need to share all your emotions.

I wouldnt count on that phrase, unless it was purely subjective by your side, Haikyuu's manga is inferior to the anime, though the manga itself is great as well.

Perhaps your right I haven't read or watched Haikyuu yet but it is in my list. Well maybe me saying never was a little much. Cuz the Jojo anime that's' about to come looks amazing who knows it could surpass the manga. I'm just saying Owari was bad but the manga was a little better.

Idk, we can only guess here, my opinion is that this show will be entertaining to watch, but the story would be meh. I feel it woiuld focus in give us cool action scenes and thats it (and thats cool too).

I don't see how his post gave off the impression of an elitist. It makes me wonder if you know what elitist are.

Time is money. People that are on a busy schedule don't have the time to try out everything. It's more logical to watch something that has a higher chance of satisfaction. As such, it's fine to ask on the forums for more information to help make such a decision.

You life must sucks really hard if you were traumatized by something as little as that and need to share all your emotions.

How is this an insult to you? He just gave me his honest thoughts, for crying out loud. Well gee, why am I feeling so offended after I read someone's response from this. I mean I'm not really sure how I agree with this especially this quote but... it's pretty hard to say.

It seems their response are quite irrelevant these days. Different people but different perception, I guess.

No matter posting so many questions with every anime especially those 2 shows (like Guilty Crown which it's turning 5 this year), I gets easily ignored and then you guys are never want to listen to my excuses & trying to insult me instead. Geez, you really trying to hurt my feelings, obviously.

*sigh* I guess I have to deal with it when it comes to MAL member from mostly in western states who don't give a shit about everything I said..

"Good" is subjective. Sometimes, even a horrible narrative won't even make up for entertainment. Even if some people find an anime entertaining and fun, that hardly equates to the show being good in the eyes of others.

Yes it will be 11-13 episodes which really disappoints me. If it's good and turn out to be successful we will be getting season 2.

They will have to balance it carefully though. If they get overconfident and it doesn't sell well, the series will end with a cliffhanger that never resolves. If they play it too safe though, they will try to conclude it at one season and it will be rushed. Hoping that they trust their work enough to be popular and go with the first choice.

Just go in expecting some eye candy and you shouldn't be disappointed.
5 main aspects I base my ratings on:
1. Did DramaEnthusiast make a thread about it?
2. Is it better than Breaking Bad?
3. Did MellowJello recommend the shit out of it?
4. Has it caused a (very entertaining) shitstorm on MAL?
5. Is it actually good?

Scratch the fifth point, it's not very relevant...

Relax, you're just being over emotional over some work of fiction. Just because you don't like an anime doesn't mean that you could went all angry about it. And if something looks bad, the don't watch it. Simple.

It hasn't been really discussed in the MAL forums, but this has been licensed worldwide by none other than Amazon, who is desperately trying to gain more content in different genre's to compete with Netflix. According to some reports in Japan, they paid an unheard amount of money for a previously unreleased property. So if they don't finish it, it will not be for lack of money. It would have to tank miserably (and I mean miserably) in Japan for them to drop it.

tbh I don't care if it's overrated/popular or not

as long as it enjoyable I'm watching it, as simple as that

(and if it's popular enough we may get a novel out of it /like with Osomatsu-san/ so if that happens and I like the show, even better!)

IKR! The PV looks promising! The music is gold! The characters look interesting! The animation seems incredible! If the story is good, then it's easily one of the best anime of 2016! People said that the 1st episode doesn't show many things tho. But the first 3 episodes are preety good!

at first I wasn't interested, until they started to release PVs which indeed looked pretty damn awesome (the music being one of the key factors and also the zombie part)

even if it's not my most hyped show of the season (that goes to Joker Game), I am excited to see what the show is all about (I only hope I won't have such a hard time as with Ajin to find the episodes.... that's my only wish)
