| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- About 90 minutes. Chinese subs are out and well, it was more calmer than I had expected for at least the first 15 minutes. We get tennis matches and some usual stuff until shit goes down with some supernatural. I think the movie takes place after a 1-year timeskip but the character design looks pretty much the same. I think the show went a bit with its emotional factors again in particular with Mirai and Akihito. Uh, fitting ending I guess in terms of content considering it has similar feel to the original TV series just with less comedy and more human emotions like despair. I think part of the movie/series' theme relates to happiness as well. That embrace... |

| It seems like they are back to normal, but with the main girl losing the memory yet sensing that she's not normal, it is hard for them to keep her memory away, and now with a group of shadows lead by humans with youmu wanting her, the danger comes. |

| Fansubs are out, just finished watching it. Loved it! Was very emotional throughout the movie. Wish it were longer, though. |
| Hope he doesn't get burnt by the blood when they... you know the deal. I mean, yeah, it was great, it wasn't quite there but it was still amazing, this basically had enough content for a whole season without breaking a sweat (so many things to explore and expand upon) but a movie is alright too, it did need a solid 10 or 20 more minutes tho, ending came about kinda quick. I doubt they'll do anything else with this but oh well, there's a faint hope, like I said, plenty to explore (though I feel like it'd be kinda out of place to go back and explore the stuff showed in this movie when they already reached a "conclusion" here). |

| One word: EPIC Was looking forward to this and it was way pass my expectation. Everything is so beautiful...kind of sad that Mirai lose her memories T_T I was hoping that Akihito would somehow gain control over Beyond the Boundary and was able to use the power, but damn. I have way too much to say, but I will make it short so yea it sure is good. 9/10 That is what I called a "Good End" |

| Excellent ending for Akihito and Kuriyama. I actually like that Mirai doesn't regain her memories even at the end. Makes it all feel more fitting. Always feels like a cop-out when amnesiacs manage to remember everything right at the end for that - quote unquote - "Perfect Ending". Amazing action. Excellent work with the characters. SO MANY FEELS!!!!! Love it all, 10/10. |

| A thoroughly enjoyable movie. Though I was wondering what Akihito's mom meant about watching the boundary for years or something like that (?) and we still don't know what his dad looks like. |

| Great movie! Definitely better than the tv series. Also I couldn't count how many times the characters teared up in the movie like almost everyone cried. The confession scene at the end was cute as well; it really reminded me of Tamako Love Story's one. |
| Kuriyama and Akihito's relationship was the only redeeming factor of this movie. Well, and KyoAni's amazing animation. The actual antagonist/conflict was weak as hell. |
| okay 9/10 because i love knk and kyoani im docking a point because it was confusing and kind of underwhelming. loved that monologue in the beginning and the way akihito and mirai finished the last line at the end of the movie. |

| This movie was great. I thought it was a very nice anime. The ending was a lot (imo) better than the one in the series. The only thing I didn't like and same goes for the series is not enough fight scenes. When they fight its so epic but only last for like 2 seconds. But that's just me. 9/10. Glad I checked this out. P.S. You will cry A LOT. |

| I liked this movie. I wasn't entirely impressed with the series but I enjoyed it. However, this movie blew me away. Once again, I can't help but praise Kyoto Animation's animation prowess. |

| Better than the original series. Too bad I don't remember much about it, so I have to rate 7. Maybe if I did I would (or not as well) bump the score. PS: sad because they didn't end it with Daisy. |

| the characters did really cry a lot to the point I laughed XD Still no matter how much, Akihito's tears are important for me. So for the happy ending, I'd say 8/10. |

| The movie was actually enjoyable. Oh, I mean the Hiroomi moments and Nase family scenes, not the "main couple." Felt more for Izumi's predicament than the whole dumb amnesia thing. Unfortunately, that seemed more of a sub plot. Really though, Hiroomi is badass and screw that stalker guy. |

| Around 1:05...when did he have time to pick up that ring!? Minutes before, we saw him look at it fall on the ground, and then the black shadow people walk past it toward him, and Aki running away from the fireball. If that's not an error, I don't know what is. At least this movie tied up the loose ends and everything is back to normal, including the eldest sister coming back. |
