Yup, yup, same here. But I don't read much manga, so it really doesn't has to put up a fight to stay my favourite forever XD

Love Hina. It was all down hill from there.
We explore... And you call us criminals. We exist without skin color, without nationality, without religious bias... And you call us criminals. You build atomic bombs, you wage wars, you murder, you cheat, and lie to us and try to make us believe it's for our own good, yet we're the criminals.

Wow, I'm disappointed in most of you. Only reading FMA, DBZ, Naruto, and One Piece just after the anime appeared in the US. To be a true manga coinsure, you should read Manga that haven't appeared as animes yet. I read the Scryed Manga before the Anime and realized that the Manga is way better then the Anime. I know that these manga are based on Animes you really like but give the others on the rack a chance. I say you should get Kagetora, Maharomatic, AI Love You, Gundam Seed Astray, and Realbout High School. You'll notice that Manga is just as great as watchin' Anime.

We're all fans here. ^^

My very first manga was something that I don't remember its name...but I know one of the first manga I read was Galaxy Express 999, I think somewhere in the mid-90's (I have a bad memory ;_; forgive me).

lol, for me it is the opposite. I read the manga first and then watch the anime, for the most part anyways. Few exceptions are DBZ, FMA, Mai-Hime...

Same here. If I hadn't read the manga for several series probably wouldn't have started watching several anime like Black Cat, Hayate and Claymore. Plus its fun to compare story points between the two. =)

That would be The Sunwell Trilogy by Richard A Knaak, and part of the Warcraft universe. I basically got hooked on the novels and got the manga as well. Since then I have started reading Welcome to the NHK, Shingetsutan Tsukihime and will start buying Monster. I basically like the anime in those series and wanted to get going with the manga as well.

Yakitate!! Japan was my first, I believe. I read scanlations, but then they stopped in volume 17 somewhere, I think, so I stopped. I watched the whole anime series, though. :P

I tried to find Fruits Basket scanlations, but it's licensed, and I can't really afford to waste my money on a manga right now. I found some scans, but they weren't translated. DX Lot of good that did me...

The only other manga I've ever read as far as I recall is Naruto, which I'm still reading. Speaking of which, I must go check Narutofan to see if last week's chapter is up! *zips off*

For those who care, this is my first post... I haven't actually introduced myself in the appropriate forum, but I felt like posting here anyway. Plus, I want to know if my signature works. :P

[ Edit: It works! Yay! XD ]
