So I was looking for the second OVA of Toriko which was done by ufotable and noticed that MAL made a mistake.

Isn't the producer Ufotable, not Toei? Toei didn't even get the rights to Toriko until early or mid way 2011.

Guys at MAL. Can you kindly change the producers to ufotable not Toei?

Yes it was.

Here it is
And it's not a correct representation of Toriko either, it's too dark and toriko is too serious looking and edgy.
While Toei's is too kiddy at the action parts.

That is the 2009 OVA. I am talking about the 2010 OVA.

Oh the 2nd one.
It was only released at a jump event, can't find it anywhere
And that really doesn't look like ufotable's style.

The only place where ufotable was credited as Producers was the Toriko wiki http://toriko.wikia.com/wiki/Toriko:_Barbarian_Ivy_o_Hokaku_Seyo!
Neither Wikipédia nor AniDB seems to have any info on it. Try to get some proof like a screenshot from the credit scene and then post it in the Modification Request thread http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=30866

How can I get proof if it's not available online? It was AIRED ONLY at Jump Festa. That's why the information about it is minimal. You even did the work to find out it was ufotable because the link you provided has a comment about the staff details for the 2010 OVA and it matches the 2009 OVA done by ufotable (scroll down to the comments).

Its also common sense, Toei never got the rights to Toriko until 2011. So how is it even possible for them to animate a 2010 OVA? The evidence points towards ufotable but for some reason MAL picked Toei.

The thing is though that 3 of the staff listed there worked on the TV series too (Can't find any information at all about the other ones). The VAs changed between the OVA and series but that isn't unusual, it also happened with Assassination Classroom before it got adapted into a TV series.

It's also possible for Toei to animate the 2010 OVA if they only got allowed to make that and only a year after that they got the rights to make the TV series. Not saying that you're wrong but I wouldn't assume that it's ufotable just because it most likely wasn't Toei.

In any case just post this in the Modification Request thread like I mentioned in my comment earlier and the mods will see if it should be changed or not.

I have removed the producer relation for now. Feel free to make a modification request if the animation studio becomes known.
