| The only place where ufotable was credited as Producers was the Toriko wiki http://toriko.wikia.com/wiki/Toriko:_Barbarian_Ivy_o_Hokaku_Seyo! Neither Wikipédia nor AniDB seems to have any info on it. Its also common sense, Toei never got the rights to Toriko until 2011. So how is it even possible for them to animate a 2010 OVA? The evidence points towards ufotable but for some reason MAL picked Toei. The thing is though that 3 of the staff listed there worked on the TV series too (Can't find any information at all about the other ones). The VAs changed between the OVA and series but that isn't unusual, it also happened with Assassination Classroom before it got adapted into a TV series. It's also possible for Toei to animate the 2010 OVA if they only got allowed to make that and only a year after that they got the rights to make the TV series. Not saying that you're wrong but I wouldn't assume that it's ufotable just because it most likely wasn't Toei. In any case just post this in the Modification Request thread like I mentioned in my comment earlier and the mods will see if it should be changed or not. |
