| You could consider using it when it comes out. It's practically been in a large beta test since it was announced. A lot of changes have been made periodically and a lot of those changes are improvements. Some of them not so improving... others are great. I can't stick behind it 100%, but at this point I'm not sure I can go back comfortably. |

If i hate it i'll go back to win 7. When does it officially come out and when do you think is a good time to actually install it? |

Though I've heard they want to charge a sub fee in order to maintain a schedule of OS updates. | I'm part of the Windows Insider Program for over half a year now and using win 10 as my main OS in my laptop. Even with all the hiccups the current stage has, I think it's at least worth to try win 10 when you have the chance. I can't fully recommend people to upgrade though, even if it's free for win7/8/8.1 users. |

| You can use a USB. I just always had a CD since I made it when Windows 7 first launched and it was the first thing that came to mind. The USB option is there for folks who don't have an optical drive or anyone that just want that instead. |
