| Well shit, that was brutal.. Good amount of focus of Illya this episode even though it wasn't a pleasant ending for her or Berserker in that fight. Our blonde guy is just too damn badass. (one of the reasons why he is one my favorite in this show though)  |

| I liked the scenes with the blonde guy tbh but that's just me as a fan of him so I'm biased.But I don't know why they left out certain things...there was no real atmosphere,no tension,it just happened and most anime-only watchers won't give af about her if they are not easily manipulated by "feelz". Still rip Illya,not a fan of her but I liked that she got some focus atleast,but it was really "down your face" imo,didn't Miura said in an interview ,that he wants to be a bit more subtle?And what was with Illya getting ripped up by those wolves?Pandering to F/Z edgelords? I also didn't like the flashbacks during the fight aswell,they just killed any form of tension imo. An improvment to last weeks episode(duh),but I feel that it could've been better just by having a different structure for the episode.I thought we would getit this week. My final verdict for this episode is a 3/5,if I wouldn't know more about Illya from the VN then this would be a 2/5. sorry if this sounds a bit too harsh,I'm just a bit disappointed |

Rip Illya ;; One of the better episodes, I think. Well, the fight was interrupted by flashbacks repeatedly so it was kind of underwhelming. That said, these were much better than the Caster flashback last episode. Also lol Shinji getting in the middle and talking shit. Winter Forest could have done with more explanation but wasn't as bad as I thought. Overall, probably one of the best episodes of the show so far. 4.5/5 |

| THIS WEEK ON AKAME GA FEITO - Not liking the explodey michael bay type of start. THe strongpoint of this in VN was that it was completely calm outside and shirou/rin only noticed fight going on when inside. Here ufo michael bay'd it up for no reason. - First pacing killer interruption for zerobullshit flashback...yay? Well at least so far the bullshit flashback served more purpose than Caster's FIller master. - We gotta add needless tryhard edge tho. - oh look another inconsistency int he filler - the chains holding back Hercules? OH I forgot that this is not canon but BullshitVerse. - Finaly winter forest part....sort of...as in pretty much the only canon part so far...and...with no actual explanation from VN on why even this is happening. And with additional edgelordery. - Well congrats Ufo. You ruined most of winter forest.... - FINALLY Shirou/Rin...another little bit of canon stuff...sort of... - Oh look we got back to the fight the mood of which was already killed by badly placed flashback. - ANd the fight is yet again static camera sfxsfxsfx fight...here I hoped we will get something . - Oh look Illya calls to berserker MILIMETERS BEHIND HIM. Way to miss the point, ufo. - Where the fuck was Gil's Gungir use? - Fuck the tackle bullshit -_- - Oh look. Scared Gil. Yay for non cannon stuff, Bullshitverse. - Oh look a too-late scream of SHirou. way too miss the point, ufo. Well huge part of this episode can be summed up as edgelordery "mature" fanservice filler just like the previous filler episode last week. A lot of episode could have been better if the flashback was IN ONE PIECE and BEFORE the fight, not hte midfight. THe episode was emotionally dull as fuck. The atmosphere was not portrayed correctly, Illya/Berserker bond was understated, most of Winter Forest context was missing and most of filler additions non-canon and pointless. Even Stratos as generic and dull as it is gave me more feels at the end of ep than this. The atmosphere and tension is just...missing. And they made shirou look like idiot in this yet again. Fuck this shit. Also... CANT HAVE MONOLOGUES GUYSE. VISUAL MEDIUM YO HUNDRED OF FLASHBACKS INTERRUPTING THE SCENE IS TOTALLY FINE THO. | This whole episode could probably be summed up with: Illya ;_; I liked the expanded Winter Forest, and Berserker kicked ass. I like how he broke Enkidu at the end, it's not like he's full god or anything. Gil can suck it. |

| Now That was a piece of Art. Good thing a certain surgery was left out, it would've just ruined the mood. | The tension and atmosphere is missing in this anime. It is like someone is reading a script. All the visual cues and shit that emphasizes tension are not there. It feels lifeless. Like. was I supposed to feel anything here? If not for having read the VN, I am pretty sure I would not have. The fight itself was shorter than I expected it to be, but I liked it. The scene where Shirou and Rin were climbing the tree will probably be in the BDs (I hope so, at least). 4/5 for now. The CM shown after the episode reveals fight scenes not present in the episode. They cut some of the fight for the BDs. |
