| You have to get through the first 10 episodes.. and then it becomes a really good anime to watch. Those episodes are mainly for introducing all the main characters that will be with the show.. so keep watching. I hope you stick with it.. as one Ulquiorra fan to another. |

| I've had this on my p2w list for a while. I tend to like shorter series but ive always been curious due to the good feedback. Is it the kinda show you can watch a couple of eps a week and pick up and put down easily? |

| Hahaha. Cihan <3 If you watch 20 episodes and still don't like it, drop it. Took me about 15 eps to really get into it and I am so so so glad I did. It is definitely the funniest and one of the best series out there. |

| Yeah, it's hilarious. In my opinion, it's one of those anime where some episodes can be really awesome but some can be boring/ridiculous to the point that it's not funny. Especially the later episodes which But it's worth watching anyhow. Just don't eat/drink while watching since some parts can be quite disgusting. |

| I guess I have a question to ask also... Currently, Rumbel has up to episode 125 subbed, but they'll really never catch up, so I was wondering if I would miss out on any good references if I started to watch the CR subs. |

There are a few episodes that I had to fast forward through, but only a handful, which is still impressive considering how long the show is. It is probably the only anime I dont mind fillers in, again very impressive because I absolutely hate fillers. Gintama is worth watching because it made grumpy old Beatnik cry with laughter and make his sides hurt. There you go. |

| Hell yeah.....!!!!!1111 i watched 25 episodes and its amazing... though episode 25 was kinda bad..( first episode that i didnt like) damn onepiece and gintama are the best long-shounen-comedy manga out there... how are they doing this ? |

It's true that it's a bit dull in the first few episodes, but once I got past them I started to really love this anime...In fact it's now my all time favorite. The action is great later on and the humor just gets better and better. However like someone here already said it all depends on your taste. Gintama's brand of humor takes a bit of adjusting to, but I've gotten many friends into Gintama and they love it like I do. So try and stick with it for a while. |

| Gintama is awesome, one of the best animes in my opinion. I saw a clip on youtube where Gintoki and the others spoofed Naruto (Ninja Double Curry xD). Laughed my ass off, that's when I decided to start watching Gintama and I'm loving every second of it. And until now I saw every episode Rumbel Subs has put out. I like the font they use. |

| Gintama is so awesome. But it does have it's own way of comedy and it's not like the most other comedy animes, i guess. (dunno how to explain this ^^") It has quite a lot of jokes, which means you can laugh in EVERY episode. In the arcs it gets serious, but they make jokes there too. So it won't get boring. Also their fights are awesome as well. for example the fight of Gin and Ginzou :D If watched 195 episodes of Gintama and never had the feeling of boredom. Every character is unique and is crazy in their own way. In the beginning i thought i wouldn't like this show but now it's one of my fav. anime. So I think it's worth watching but it also depends on your taste. |

Since it was the pilot, they actually have most of the cast already introduced and used in the episode so it's kind of hard to follow. From episode 3, it just starts with Gintoki and introduces the cast one by one along with their backstories. |

Don't be discouraged... Try watching it until the end, you will want more... |
| I did the same thing as you and decided to give it a second chance 2 years later. What I've learned is that you don't need to watch this anime in chronological order to enjoy it. The comedy is the number 1 reason to watch this show. |
