I hope Handa-Kun gets an anime or OVA adaptation someday. Should be fun to watch and I'm glad to see the series up high this week on that list.

Definitely glad to see Kingdom, Kimi ni Todoke, and Magi doing well too.

I really need to start Kimi ni todoke, got the first 5 volumes and always been meaning to but get side tracked so easily. Great to see the others up there among the numerous others in the top 50 I like.

*2. 24,181 179,139 Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei Vol.5

I believe that should be volume 15 of Mahouka not volume 5. Regardlesd I'm thrilled to see it selling like crazy again. Expecting it to crack 200k before it drops off the list. Nice to see the other 2 up there.

Fairy tail doing quite well and the NNT anime boost finally seems to be finished. If the sales remain consistent, Tokyo ghoul:re will be hitting 700k in the next two week or so which is pretty cool.

I am pretty sad to see that Nanatsu no Taizai is no longer on the list, I hope there's a boost in the top 100 though. Well, I guess it did have a pretty good boost. I am also pretty sad to see Magi not doing that well. Happy though that TG:re volume 1 is doing amazingly

I knew the Cover to Tokyo Ghoul:Re Vol 1 would help the sales a lot, I mean it looks like a Shoujo manga cover.

Joking aside it's nice seeing the sequel doing well and staying in the top 50 for a while now. It's definitely gonna reach 700K eventually.

Snk sales should be close to 2mil now, when you include the limited edition.

Man, one piece volume 76 is almost close to 3 million already. The current arc must be really good, volume 76 is selling faster than all the previous volumes. Still have some catching up to do if I want to get caught up with the series.

Fairy tale is surprisingly doing good, not a fan of this series but I heard the current arc is pretty good. Might pic up the manga.

Tokyo ghoulre is gunning for 700k not surprising, haven't read the series since chapter 6, I think its time to catch up. ;)

Kimi ni todoke I'm going to give this series a shot. I heard that this series is one of the four series that sold over 1 mil per volume last year. The other series that pass the 1mil sales per volumes is naruto, one piece and snk. Hopefully we have more series getting to the 1mill range.

Doesn't really matter as long as all volumes are still in Top 500 manga, as Oricon keeps the counted sales up to there. The 12 volumes of Nanatsu no Taizai sold a combined 154,046 this week, according to the Top 10 Weekly Manga Series from Oricon Youtaiju.

Note Tokyo Ghoul:re is considered a separate series from the original Tokyo Ghoul by Oricon, so Tokyo Ghoul:re Vol.1's sales of 23,713 isn't included in that 139,990 that the original 14 volumes have sold combined this week.

When I first watch Kingdom,I drop it after the first few episodes.

However, when I notice the manga is selling well, I decided to try it again and thank God I give it a second chance. Really hope there will be sequel though that seems unlikely to happen.
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist.

One Piece close to 3 million

SNK close to 2 million.

NNT, TG;RE, KnB, AssClass all have no noticeable boosts in the Top 50 despite their anime adaptations. The threshold is probably too high.

Assclass anime is fighting a battle on trying to find new viewers to get into the series. it will probably have to be a big hit anime like snk to get some noticeable boost. The manga has already been advertised so well that the anime is probably not even needed.

Magi is doing well, there's also the limited version.

Yeah, but this is the Alma Torran arc and it wasn't really popular in Japan cause it had nothing to do with the main cast. Ohtaka meant for it to be longer, but cause people were getting tired of the long flashback she finished it early. From what I heard
"What has two arms, two legs, and is alive? Not your favorite character lol! xD"

Weekly Manga Series
Rank / Weekly Sales / Weekly Charted Sales / Series Title
*1 278,808 269,387 Kimi ni Todoke (君に届け)
*2 256,142 239,705 Kingdom (キングダム)
*3 210,554 190,470 Magi (マギ)
*4 167,827 148,182 FAIRY TAIL
*5 154,046 ***,*** Nanatsu no Taizai (七つの大罪)
*6 149,544 139,787 Handa-kun (はんだくん)
*7 144,455 *99,575 Diamond no Ace (ダイヤのA)
*8 139,990 ***,*** Tokyo Ghoul (東京喰種トーキョーグール)
*9 125,972 *28,058 Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (暗殺教室)
10 121,322 118,453 GIANT KILLING

So have Tokyo Ghoul's Vols (not including the sequel) reached 700K yet?

I usually post them for manga and light novels at the News Club:

But you can also find them on 2ch a few hours later in their respective threads.

Nice! It's sad that the main series got into hiatus :(
