I think his psyche still isn't focused after what happened to his brother, something that I don't blame him. If Sora fears the Orichi that much, he should be better prepared for it and make his family proud. |

| Lots of stuff happening would be an understatement! Chuutarou being manipulated by the Naoto guy, hope Chuutarou stops before he lose his innocence! I thought that attack what buy the fox-masked Fuuma! Tenka being an artifical Orochi. Orochi having swallowed the spell and the Kumoh swords. It was cool that the swords have the power of the spells now! Shirasu betraying the Kumoh? :/ Shirasu wanting Orochi to rise and thus attacking Botan like that. Soramaru being the Orochi and having attacked one of the Yamainu! Definitely looking forward to what is going to happen next after all these things happening! |

| That criminal led the youngest one to realize oldest is being killed, and made him grow hatred. It is serious that shikigami is needed? lol @ KajiKaji's character vs. Shimono-san's character. Seems like oldest got killed for nothing, and KajiKaji's character starts to be the Orochi's container... So Orochi can change its container? (I mean, the oldest one had the same "tattoo" thing that represents Orochi on his body, too) A way to kill Orochi without killing the container? And ninja that supports revival of Orochi? |

| I think Chuutarou just went nuts... So there's a chance that Tenka wasn't the vessel O.o At this rate Chuutarou will join the dark side... Awww, Soramaru worrying over Nishiki :3 Tenka was an artificial Orochi :o Damn, Soramaru was choking Nishiki-chan... and I think he was one that attacked Takamine since it looked like he recognized the attacker... I guess he's the real vessel for Orochi T.T So my guess that Soramaru was the Orochi was spot on... damn... Botan... you're a life saver T.T and freaking Shirasu is a traitor that server Orochi... so many plot twist... |

The real thing has finally started :) Gotta agree with you there. Despite being low on action, there's a lot of exposition for many different events here. While reading, you can take your time so it'll all sink in easier but the pacing is very fast when you're actually watching it. On a side note, this episode alone adapted the entirety of Volume 4, there are 6 Volumes total. The previous episodes adapted around 2-3 chapters per episode, this one adapted 6 chapters. |

Actually I can feel the awkward pacing too, even though I'm watching the anime ahead of the manga which I'm reading too. Considering it's 12 episodes vs 20-something chapters I guess it's to be expected but it's a shame, they should had just given the series a few more episodes to let some moments flesh out more. The anime is getting better and a fine adaptation but the manga is definitely better. |
