Psychological anime

Does anyone know any psychological anime, that is weaved with the true essence of psychology, not any anime where they kinda have a bit of it in the plot, like death note (awesome anime though), something where the entire story is based on the idea, like paranoia agent, where the whole story is about the psychological problem of fear and rumors. Where the plot is about an interesting idea, where symbolism is thrown at u and it about problems in the world/interesting concepts of life. P.S can u suggest something a little unknown/unheard of, i have watched and know about a lot. P.S i like A LOT of Satoshi Kon's work, sadly he is no longer with us. And please don't suggest Evangelion.

^ Exactly, Kuuchuu Buranko immediately came to mind. If you haven't tried it, it's definitely worth a shot. Technically, the episodic plot doesn't sound all that special, but the direction and storytelling are absolutely fantastic.
