And it's that time of year with the snow and fireworks. Well this is the penultimate episode but some of it feels like a finale.

Nice glasses, Sachi. There's some moments that makes you go HUH but it looks like the future looks bright for them. 1 more episode left but too many wtf moments this time.

Well that's all I needed to know, thanks. I skipped last week's episode, and will skip today's as well. Just going to watch the last 3 episodes back to back once the finale is here. I couldn't take waiting each week anymore, when each episode seemed to be about nothing (or where little happened). I know this has been a problem all season. But it finally got to me.

Touko seeing the full version of her future fragments.

This episode needed more chicken screentime.

I can't even believe I've made it this far, assuming nothing was worth the while throughout the anime.

You're going to need a lot of luck if you're planning on watching multiple episodes of this at once. I can't picture doing this myself.

At the Beginning of the Episode I was like :

Damn! What the hell is happening! Am I Dreaming? Please slap me hard 3 times! I want to snap out of this Dream!

Why the hell it's looks like Touko and Kakeru had switch their residency? (an Alternate World) And Why or also looks like there are 2 groups of them! (So It's an Illusion huh?) Seriously what's going on?!!!

At the End of the Episode I was like :

Oh so that's the imaginative world or "fragments of future" that Touka has been seeing in the past Episodes. That really freaks me out. But at least it turned back to normal. So please end this Anime with in an understandable way not like that weird way!

Maybe it was a bad idea to wait then!

I guess I'll just watch an episode here and there before the finale (so I'll space it out)

Well look on the bright side only one more episode of this shit left.

I'm so happy about that. I regret not dropping this earlier. I'd be a waste to drop it now, near the finale... or would it ?

Wow! So much hate for a show that DARES to try something new?
Go watch 500+ episodes of those "generic" anime series if an actual plot offends you.
"Nothing happens" it seems that way if you're not paying attention, eh? For those who are it's a wonderful, intelligent show. Not perfect, but at least it's trying to be original...

I don't get this episode?!
What I just watched?

Even when Kakeru explained it, I still don't get it...

Also Kakeru even in alternate reality still lives in a tent?
During the winter?
Although their house is big?
He still lives in a tent?
WTF?! O.o

that was deep. the vision is like an interpretation of kakeru's sudden, unexpected loneliness, and touko is being put in his shoes. i get goosebumps from watching. 5/5. next week >_<

This episode proved that they (staff) only play around. They don't give a shit about story, consistency or anything. Look, they are trying cinematography technique they never used in it.

They needed a good story to save the show, this is the penultime episode, and what do they do?

Something that can be considered filler.

Really, the episode was saved when they showed that it was Toukos vision of an alternate reality, but god... seriously?

Heh, so I guess this sorta, kinda explains the fragments of the future and this serves as a way for Touka to experience David's sudden expected loneliness. But what a slow episode it was, and I was pissed and confused throughout most of it, especially since I thought it was gonna be the last episode. Well, let's see how this ends, I feel like this anime didn't accomplish a thing and just wasted my time, *sigh*. Remember Nagi-Asu? That was fucking fantastic. Shirobako better resemble that show more than this.

I was annoyed throughout this episode because the alternate reality thing was lame and was the entire episode; BUT as someone mentioned, it helps Touko relate with Kakeru and the loneliness he experiences by having her experience his feels.

If those two don't end up together, this entire anime was a waste of time where essentially nothing happened and every decision made by them was based on visions, self psychological assessments and metaphysics bullshit

The whole episode was a much longer version of one of Touko's fragments - she was 'seeing' it due to the vase and Kakeru's mother playing. In the 'fragment' they are both switched - Touko the new girl in town/Kakeru local - I guess it will help her understand Kakeru better... I guess the fragments weren't about the future then... well at least not all of them...?

Have to admit though, until the reveal at the end, I was so confused I couldn't properly get into watching this episode ^^;

The whole point of this episode is for Touko to comprehend Kakeru's "sudden loneliness" feeling. They have been relying too much on fragments vision crap that it becomes greatly disappointed.

I was so confused at first, but once it became clear that it was an alternate reality, it all made a lot of sense (by Glasslip standards at least). Once I figured out the alternate reality bit, I actually kinda really liked this episode, even if it felt like a deliberate ploy by the writers to drag things out and to try some new tricks. At least the fragments finally make some sort of sense now, and I like how this episode helps us to understand Kakeru better without him even being the focus; I quite like the way they showed us what he goes through by using Touko instead, and thus revealing some more about her in the progress.

One episode left now. These last few episodes have been a drastic improvement, so I'm really hoping that we get a good finale here.

Whoa Touko and Kakeru switched roles : 0

So this was the future fragments she kept seeing. She now understands Kakaru's loneliness T__T

If she wan't real in alternative world does that mean Kakaru isn't real in the current world : 0

The weed is strong in this one. I'm not sure what the point of showing alternate realities or was it connected with Touko's powers. But for some reason I don't really care. I do appreciate they put some effort in this episode. The visuals were good but not as good as NnA visuals though.

AND FINALLY! ONE MORE FUCKING EPISODE AND I CAN BURY THIS SHIT DEEP UNDERGROUND.

kinda agreed with this

well this anime really took an unusual way of story (or maybe unusual way of anime), the staff really like to try "new" things but sadly sometimes it goes bad. i kinda like the story, but the staff make it looks like bad anime(i think).

i'm pretty confused about this episode...
So her friends who were watching the fireworks were illusions and the real ones ( in her imaginary world ) couldn't make it? idk :/
what about kakeru then? what i got from the last scene is that he's "real" in that world and not an illusion like her friends . he also said that he was different from the kakeru she met at the train in that he's a projection from her true world ( i guess that explains why he knew about the fragments i guess )
