I might just build up my catalog and open up when I have more time to fulfill requests. UPDATE 12/1/14: The shop is now open for orders again! Since I still have school I might not start fulfilling until the end of the week but I'll do what I can. Remember to check the new rules: requests that don't adhere to the rules will not be fulfilled. UPDATE 12/5/14: Fulfillments will start next week—once I get past the JLPT and start finals I will have a lot more time to work on graphics, so hopefully once I start I can deliver pretty regularly. I put up a new card design in time for new orders next week. Also, to make up for taking so long before I can get the cards out, I have made a Christmas-themed wallpaper! Here it is: UPDATE 12/9/14: I finished all the requests from the first week of reopening, but imgur is refusing to upload them. Hopefully I will be able to upload them successfully by tomorrow. Sorry for the wait <3 UPDATE 12/13/14: imgur is still refusing to upload last week's cards. If it doesn't work by tonight I'll try to get them into photobucket, but I feel like the format of imgur is the best for deliveries :( UPDATE 12/16/14: Okay, my computer has finally gotten over its little spat with imgur so cards for the first request week (Dec. 1-6) are up (check the top of the post for the link.) Now that those are uploaded I will get on to the second request week (Dec. 7-13). Sorry for the wait! UPDATE 1/14/14: I go back to school in a couple weeks so I'll probably be putting the shop on hiatus soon. Also MAL screwed up the pictures so I'll try and do something to fix that later. UPDATE 1/10/14: The shop will be going on hiatus after the end of this week since I'm going back to school. I will probably fulfill some requests after that (since I'm behind as usual) but I won't take any new ones. The shop might reopen after midterms or even earlier depending on how the classes turn out. Hey all! I hope this is okay—I wanted to put this up earlier but school started and I didn't have time to open up my graphics program until the weekend. Anyway, I had fun in the contest even though I didn't make it past the first round. I'm presenting both some of those cards (slightly edited) and a couple of new ones here. RULES: You can request 1 card per calendar week. Also, once my Christmas (or other limited) line of cards is out, each requester can ask for one (only, not per week) additional card from that set; that doesn't mean you can't use your weekly requests for the limiteds, just that you get an extra choice from them. Hopefully this will reduce my workload while letting people get plenty of fun cards <3 A couple of the designs use fonts or formats for the usernames that might not take symbols or numbers. If you want one of those but it doesn't work with your username, you can provide an alternative spelling or leave it to my judgement to make adjustments. Here are the designs: (I'm keeping track of how many times each has been requested just so I know what people like. It doesn't have anything to do with limiting amounts or anything.) A (16 requests):  This one might cause problems with special characters due to the font. B (1 request):  This one might cause problems with special characters due to the vertical format. It also appears to have some problems with numbers. C (5 requests):  D (16 requests):  E (6 requests):  This one won't take dashes, as I found out while doing the latest batch. Tildes also don't look very good. Underscores might be okay but I'm not sure. It will take asterisks which look kind of cute and could be used to replace a dash if you wanted something there instead of a space. F (1 request):  I'm required to credit the (really nice) water texture I used: it's by DyingBeautyStock over on devArt. G (6 requests):  NEW! H:  This one turned out really large, but I quite like it. The computer screen elements (not the computer base itself) were made by Rinashuu on devArt. The font for this one doesn't do numbers or any special characters (I think I have a demo version or something). I might try and find a more usable font at a different time. NEW! I:  NEW! J:  I saw this render and knew I had to make a Halloween/Autumn themed card with it, which is why I was making new designs today. NEW FOR THE REOPENING! This new line is limited the holiday season, so get them while they last! The one extra request mentioned in the rules above applies to this set. I haven't decided when they'll go away yet: maybe in mid-January. K (Winter 2014):  L (Winter 2014):  M (Winter 2014):  This card was made with input from Tsubasa_, the 100th requester, who wanted a card featuring the Kumou brothers from Donten ni Warau. N (Winter 2014):  This one looks kind of awkward if you have a long username, since it starts to run into Ciel and Sebastian's 'signatures'. If your username is ~12 or more characters you might want to give an alternative version for me to use. There will probably be 1 or 2 more holiday limiteds to come. |
