| It makes you a weaker person in society, but to consider it wholly 'bad' is quite an overstatement. Perverts are more likely to allow their lust (emotions) get the better of them, thus giving them more chance of perpetrating repulsive acts such as sexual harassment. I also believe that not many girls would want sexual attention from perverted anime otakus, so being perverted only serves to potentially socially ostracize ourselves. I hope perverts think twice before having those 'thoughts'. I believe that discussing this topic really tells a lot about the person who wrote the response =D.
