Open mind as in accepting of different ideas and not so insistent on a single line of thought. In this case, having an open mind would of course necessitate considering your suggestion as a potentially beneficial policy, but it also means thinking about and be accepting of all the factors surrounding the issue, and that your previously held conceptions may be wrong, even if they were dogmatic to you before.
The thing which I think is dogmatic for you is that sacrifices need to be made for the "greater good"; as long as the benefits outweigh the cost by even a little, immediately immoral acts can be excused.
Also, you need to consider that things which you derive through logic alone does not necessarily reflect on reality. Statistics and science often speak better than reason. The fact that pedophiles may rape children is no different from the fact that non-pedophiles may rape adults. What makes pedophilia different unless there are statistics to back it up?
Anyway, if you wish to discuss pedophilia specifically, I have posted in your thread and we should take the discussion there.
Regardless of whether it's true, it's not cool to state things like that. These days we aren't allowed to say/think/believe anything that might offend someone else.
Alright, I was just curious as how you would react to it. Is creationism really that difficult to accept? And about the choice matter, was there an article that stated otherwise?
I've noticed the ongoing battle and the hostility directed towards you. Btw, not too long ago I found this site with some interesting perspectives on things like homosexuality and evolution. It's a christian site, so your mileage may vary.
Yes, but where goes all that typical teenage radicalism? All that common "trying to be more manly/womanly than adults"?
Also, I think that's partially because anime fans are (still?) somehow seen as some kind of oddity, and we all know, how teenagers (and sadly some adults) are afraid of not being part of society.
Sorry dude, but the sources are there, if you can't follow conversations it's not my problem.
I've already told you the disadvantages and I linked you an article that is proof of what I said and has sources on it, it's really simple, press on the [x] near most phrases on wikipedia and you'll get sources.
But hey, you're an idiot, I can't blame you if you will continue throwing the word fallacy around, which I assure you, you have no idea what it means, and then claiming that I did not give you any type of "sources" when it's all there in the comments bellow this one, committing willful ignorance once again. Anyway, easy win for me.
Maybe you'll read it considering you asked what are the disadvantages and I gave you what are the disadvantages by telling you then giving you proof by giving you that article.

And as I said, stop this willful ignorance.
I already gave you reasons, here:
