Heh, the energy was strong this episode as I had expected.

It was a good match and I'm proud of Eijun's team :3
Next time they face, I hope both sides get even stronger. A fine finish to this episode. Poor Raichi though. Someone give him a hug.

Great ep, one of my favorite chapters from the manga.

That was a long match though, ~7 episodes lol.

Just as expected, they made the showdown between Tanba and Raichi just as intense as it was in the manga, if not more. It seriously gave me chills when Raichi started struggling internally. Poor Raichi. That scene of him crying and then Sawamura asking for a handshake and realizing how hard rock his hand was.

And now on to Sensen match o/

Raichi is that intimidating!
He couldn't manage the pressure and messed up, but in his third year... using that to his advantage would be a scary moment!
Seido winning with that forkball.

Finally the game ends. Great match! Worth all the feels...Tbh it felt like it was more than 7 episodes.
Raichi was feeling the pressure there at the end. understandable he was his teams last hope.

Raichi's gained some valuable experience here, that's for sure (stop crying bb & let me love you)
Props to Tanba & Miyuki with that perfect forkball; A+ surprise strikeout pitch (but we all saw it coming)

Cute jabs at Sawamura and Furuya from Chris and Miyuki after the game heh

So pumped for the next (game) episode! :)

Damn I'm crying ;__; The moment when we see Raichi's tears was heartbreaking. Even though I'm happy that Seidou won, I'm sad for Raichi because the first time he's tried batting for someone else, for his team, was the moment that he lost. It's utterly ironic, but of course no one blames him. The pressure was too much for Raichi. I also like how we get to see just how much Raichi's been working, how his hands are rock hard because of all this practicing.

Anyways, looks like the rest of the episodes will probably be until the conclusion of the tournament. Meeeeiiiii!!!

i thought it was somewhat obvious because of all that tanba hype ;)

im glad its over tho. i was getting tired of the crazy faces from raichi and his trainer + that red evil aura every few minutes.

A little underwhelming, but it's nice that they didn't throw in any 'curveball' twists to artificially amp up the drama.

Sadly, it seems like the animation studios' attentions are elsewhere at the moment - but hopefully they'll be back for at least the last few episodes.

T_T I didn't think Raichi would lose to pressure. But oh well, he is still a first year who's not used to team play so I guess it's understandable.

Seido will surely have a tough job nxt years with Raichi being their opponent.

And damn I really liked Todoroki Kantoku ^^

Loved Tanba's fork a lot though. Good stuff ^^

Eijun is hyped >.<

I am glad Seido won but I just feel bad for Raichi. That pressure. And that crying face. I just wanna hug him!! hehe. I was surprised with his hands though although that was obvious due to his non stop batting.

Aw, I thought Tanba was just going to outplay him, feels cheap that Raichi couldn't act under his usual approach.

Decent ep.

Such a distasteful conclusion. Why did it have to be shitty Tanba to win the match?
It would've been a lot more satisfying if it was Sawamura. Heck I'd even be pleased if it was Furuya.

Aah, I felt so bad for Raichi there. :( The guy's so incredibly sympathetic that I can't help but empathize with him and shed a few tears.

It's funny how Sawamura has turned into that meh character while a new guy that appeared like a month ago is a better main char all around.

A nice end to the best match I have enjoyed from reading the manga.

It became ironic, that Raichi swung the bat for his team.

Best game so far! Loved it all the way through. It was sad to see Raichi's tears though :(

Raichi's dad has such a great attitude towards baseball, it was fun watching him coach. I'll sure miss him, as well as his son.

Ugh, Raichi. My sweet son. (;*△*;)

I knew it was coming but it still hurt. The rare Daiya emotional response! Observe it in its natural habitat!

Glad this goddamn match is finally over, though. Figured out some (more) of why Daiya's depiction of baseball is so... dull. Not only is the game atmosphere sterile and unnatural, but the way in which it is paced makes it hard to tell what's going on in the overall game. I know baseball is characterized by batter/pitcher battles but I feel as if this is amplified to the nth degree to the detriment of game coherency. This cuts off any sense of build-up or urgency, and instead allows your mind to wander and feel the drag of the game (instead of being torn between driven crazy in wanting to know the results and wishing it would never end).

I'm super duper hoping I've forgotten better episodes and this particular fault will apply to this game only, but I won't expect taste. Just hope for it.

Goodbye, Team Yakushi. I shall miss your earnest, wild ways if not your game.

Raichi and his dad are now my favorite DnA characters. I don't even feel like watching another Seido match, they are just.. meh.. I hope the baseball games get much better, at this point other than the badass moments (most if not all come from the enemy), the games have been really boring.

I am disappointed that Sanada wasn't fleshed out more, the anime kept him mysterious when he first appeared, thought he'd be some big shot, in the end he's nothing more than just another side character.

I liked that Sawamura came to know Raichi's rough and tough hand, and realized how much hard work he had put into baseball, but as usual, the comedic moments will somehow find its way in and ruin it.

Though I dislike Raichi, how he had tried to swing for the team and was thinking of them made me sad. He had always been by himself... But now his actions were dependent on whether they could make it or not. Cute Harucchi trying to hold Sawamura back ;v; DAMN! Raichi's hand looks old asf and like someone's hand who has worked on graveyard digging for like... forty years.

Poor Raichi :( I didn't think this series would make me feel bad for the "antagonists" but I really wanted Yakushi to win. And I was rooting for Seidou in the prior matches.

And I really want Raichi to become a pro, get them Raichi!! >.<
