| Onoda has my heart. I really feel like he can do no wrong at this point. Knew the episdoe was going to be awesome when I saw the title "You are the princess". Love this show, like really, who gets jacked off of hime chanting? |

| Well it's quite obviously the singing is better here in the manga, I do love it. Now I thought it was short on episodes to finish this anime but once again I forgot there will be another season. This was probably the funniest episode so far. :) |

| Nice seeing Makishima let Onoda go to bring Tadokoro back. :) Liked how he said he's a realist but wanted to take a chance in Onoda's 'terrifying' dream. Awesome! Onoda asking Tadokoro to say "Hime" with him and his reaction.. XD Tadoro's being in sync with Onoda while singing the "Hime" song was hilarious! Loved how Onoda combined his strategies along the song. Brilliant! Even Tadokoro can't believe how effective the song is. XD Midousuji's movements were creepily impressive as always. His plan is in effect though he seem to underestimate Souhoku. It'll be fun to see how he reacts seeing Onoda catching by next episode! Hilarious episode! I almost died laughing at the "Hime" song part. XD I take it that was the full version of the song. Can't wait for the OST release. |

| Tadokoro was treated, had a lot of rest , ate and he's an athlete so I guess the heat stroke isn't that bad the next day plus he's getting help riding and singing alleviates the pain a bit > logic 101 people That end card ;) how I envy those beach balls :O |

| Second half of this episode I was laughing so hard I was crying. Perfect duet duo rides to their date with destiny. Princess Power > Logic everytime, kids. Suspense of disbelief is broken but I ain't even mad. The small shift of focus onto the Kyoto team gets all of my yes. The wait for more could kill a weaker dish. Excitexexcite. |

Drafting does help a lot, you can conserve 30% of your energy by sitting in the pack compared to the ones who actually pull the pack. But when you ride uphill, the advantage you get from drafting is much smaller. It still helps, but not this much. Of course, you can get a mental boost because of it too, which is always nice. But with Tadokoro's problems and weight, what we saw this episode just isn't possible - the pace Onoda is maintaining and changing a lot is way too high. But this series has abandoned logic and any sense of realism a long time ago. Up to the point that nothing feels realistic to me anymore. Explanations (aside from a few facts in the beginning) that are given don't make sense, just as the riding style of some riders (I'm thinking about Makishima and Midousuji), to the execution of the races itself. I could write a very, very long rant about it to be honest. I have to say, this is one of my favourite episodes in quite a while. It actually made me forget about the major gripes I have with this anime because it was so funny. But obviously, I prefer real cycling by far. |
