| HOLY SHIT O_O!!!!! I knew that the process for him to get white hair will be messed up but this was beyond my expectations!!! Dat torture is friggin BRUTAL AS F***!!! And he's starting to go crazy bit by bit! Rize will probably be the last straw and he'll lose it. |

| Whoa.....so this is how Kaneki get that white hair. Being a Ghoul with regenerative powers, "Jason" can just torture him over and over and over and over and over again. Of course it can drive him mad, I mean how many fingers did he lose for example? Going through that no telling how many times......fuck. Also, interesting thing about Rize. In the anime Kaneki sees visions of her as early as episode two after he fights Nishio as he's nearly overcome with the temptation of eating Hide. Here it seems to lean more towards him going crazy as a result of the torture, whereas in the anime it could be him going crazy as a result of turning into a ghoul or....she is actually haunting him. Is "real" if you will. |

| Ok, almost cried, this is like messed up. How does the author even come up with this... That torture.. Kaneki deserved nothing... Why does he always get hurt? It's legitimately making me mad. At least humans only have 20 digits to lose, but that psycho filled up a whole bucket... My stomach feels sick. |

| When I watched the anime it made me sick, now that I read it... It is even worse kinda made me sick. Kaneki did nothing wrong.. He suffered so much I almost cried in this chapter :( |

| I am not one to get disturbed easily, but this did it. That was probably one of the most f'd up things I've ever seen in an anime or manga. This must be what the shop keeper meant. Kaneki's gone over the edge. Poor bastard. |

| Kaneki's torture was one of the most grotesque and psychologically taxing tortures I've seen in manga. Compared to the anime, the torture was shown in horrifyingly meticulous detail complemented by the desperate screams and muttering of Kaneki filling the pages, capturing the overwhelming feelings being felt by him. That centipede as a finishing touch made my insides squirm like crazy just thinking about it. Yamori becoming the torturer as a result of being tortured was an unfortunate outcome but it surely didn't justify what's happening to Kaneki those past 10 days. Now he'll have to choose who to follow between his mother and Rize in the depths of his psyche. It was also found out that the doctor was in kahoots with Rize in making more artificial one-eyed ghouls. |

| Omfgggggggg I already knew this was gonna happen but still makes me sick regardless. I watched this scene in the anime already and of course it freaked me out. But rereading it, I just feel more sad. It'd be easier to comprehend if Jason was just pure evil but he was tortured by another sick bastard so no wonder he's like that. Very conflicting on how to feel. Aww when he started hallucinating his mom :( "Be somebody who knows pain instead of somebody who hurts" It's well-intentioned but very flawed mindset. No wonder Kaneki was always so kind-hearted before this. I feel so bad for him. And what is up with Nico? Ik he's not a big role but he's freaking me out for some reason. Is he is some kind of abusive relationship with Yamori. What did he mean by clowns being power? I genuinely wonder how the author came up with this scene. |

| It's been years since I've watched the anime adaptation from this. But the raid happend dozen days after the torture right? Or am I wrong.. Kinda confused at this point. But damn.. Kaneki is getting tortured to death. I still remember the scenes from the anime but a lot of people have said that the manga did it worse. And the classic Tokyo Ghoul Kaneki Kun Line comes from ''count backwards from 1000 at intervals of 7'' to keep him sane. And manga > anime for me. After reading this chapter. I cannot feel how much pain Jason inflicted on Kaneki. A million times over and over. Cut off everything from his body and repeated that. Put a centipede into his ear.. And he went insane. And he wanted to be a person who didn't hurt people but was in pain. A promise from his mom. But sadly, he won't be able to keep it for much longer. Rize's memories inside him are awakening. It's time for him to get up. His hair got white too. |

| That's was a whole friccking bucket of fingers!!! I would say this was a very disturbing and gory chapter of TG as a whole till now. His hairs turned white because of lack of nutrients I guess? It was very brutal to see kaneki getting Tortured. |
