Lol dolls! I hate them. :(

And wtf, that poor girl, treated like a doll. Even her husband treated her like a doll in the end. -_-

I liked Dolls growing up but how cruel.. to have no purpose but to sit silently and look beautiful.. and her looks are going to fade as she grows older.

and thinking that her situation would change if she went to hell at the end, but it didn't!

Oh well, at least her orphanage can stay safe.

I did find it kind of sad how at the end, really, nothing changed for her. The aspect of meaningless sacrifice was tragic.

Oh well she deserves it to some extent. Her greed of wanting to be with Yukio prompted her to pull the string in the end.

With every episode, I get the feeling that Enma Ai actually doesn't want the people to use the doll.

That old woman was nuts. Bitch be trippin' balls! Or in this case, dolls!

whilst this episode was okay, it felt like i was back in the first 8 episodes again.... I dont expect something to happen EVERY single episode, but the reporter usually gets more involved (despite him constantly failing) meh... all i can do now is carry on till the end

Wow... I feel so sorry for Inori :(
Indeed it doesn't seem to guarantee a good end even if the source of grievance is sent to hell... Just like Karasuchan said, "like mother, like son"...

That's interesting, because I think Hajime is one of the most understandable characters in the series. His quest is a noble one.

He should put his daughter safety before these noble quest, though.

Regarding the episode, I find it sad in the end, but the husband seems like a pushover, so good luck. :(

The ending quote "...like a living hell..." really sums up this episode. I like how the series is exploring the alternative endings after they pull the string.

I have no idea, RMCLmaker. But I guess that they just forgot. Or maybe it just seemed to be during day, when it really was night? I mean that it was lights or somesthing...

Anyway, have you realised that Enma Ai has different eyes when she is saying her line with death than at the start of serie? They're more sad, I should say.

a strange episode but good one. I feel sad for the girl she made the deal knowing she would be sent to hell when she dies and thought if the mother is gone things would change but nothing changed now she is living a living hell and after she dies she will not find peace and still living a hell damn got to be the worsted thing to happen.

ye I also noticed the eyes in this episode.
"When a flat-chested loli hugs you, she holds you closer to her heart"
"--I am a single bullet. It has no heart. Therefore, it does not think. It just flies straight towards its target."

Well it was kind of obvious that the husband really didn't love her, or at least as a human anyway. At first when he told her that she should make breakfast and then the next day he sat there with his mother eat breakfast pretty much getting his wife in trouble and reveal his true intentions for her. The only thing i don't really get is like why does the mother AND the son have the same mental illness for dolls, is it like genetic or something? It's sad she kind of got screwed over in the end. :(

I saw... that the husbands way of thinking was similar (or even the same) as his mothers. I knew that girl's problems wouldn't be solved so long as she stayed in that house.
But I do feel bad, if she did leave the very people she cares for (the ones at the orphanage) would be out of house and home :( that sucks.

Hajime didn't bother me this episode. He was right as always, and this was episode was a perfect example. Sending people to hell will not solve your problem. -_-

Tsugumi is right too though. The people making these decisions, albeit they terrible ones, are fully aware of the consequences.

It's pretty sad that the girl was stupid enough to not figure out that husband didn't love her, but hopeful enough to be willing to suffer just to stop suffering for her short life.

She should of just told the Sister and have Hajime actually be useful to help her get out. She was in a lose-lose situation anyways, so might as well not send your soul to Hell to suffer more.

What if Hajime tried to help the person out, instead of having his only goal being getting rid of Hell Girl and talking to the victim like their mommy.

This episode is by far the saddest so far.
Even after she traded her own soul, she still suffers.
I was actually wondering what would happen if it was more than one person you want to take revenge on. i've got my answer now.
I feel saddened by this. but it was interesting though.

Pretty fucked up episode, especially because of the old lady. I wonder what the old lady was doing to the girl in the bathtub ._.
Maybe I'm just not knowledgeable, but wasn't she trying to make her lose weight? How would she accomplish that

Pretty sure she was just dunking her head in the water and not allowing her to breathe, just her way of punishing her for disobeying. The way she was gonna make her lose weight was by putting her on a *special* diet as she mentioned during breakfast.

But yeah this episode was pretty sad. I knew the husband would turn out to be just like his mother, it was rather dumb of her to not realize that. Kinda sucks she can't use the site twice :<.

I'd say that either goes to Rei from Evangelion or Yin from Darker Than Black though I will agree Enma is definitely one of my favorite stoic characters.

That old lady was about 105 years old, about 4 feet tall and weighed 85 pounds tops. If the girl was willing to go to Hell to punish her, why didn't she just kick her ass? She would have the rest of her life to atone for this "sin" and earn her way to heaven. Seriously, she could've beat the holy tar-paper out of the old bat and been done with it.
