All rankings are arranged in descending order.

MSP SCORE RANKINGS
As explained in the club details, the MSP score denotes changes in score on a weekly basis but only as to whether that change is positive or negative and doesn't actually look at an actual value, due to the fact that this statistic is dependent on episode count, it goes without saying that a title with a larger number of episodes would have an unfair advantage, to counter this we make use of percentages by dividing the MSP score in relation to the episode count to give everyone a level playing field. In situations where two or more shows have the same MSP score percentage, the rankings are further sorted by score change then MAL score which are explained below.

MAL SCORE RANKINGS
Simply the usual scores as stated by the MAL Database scored by all users, the reason this was included is because it much easily transitions into the next ranking, score changes, which is explained below, viewing both together gives a more broader picture of things.

SCORE DIFFERENCE RANKINGS
This is calculated by taking the individual score changes from each week and summing them up or simply subtracting a show's final score from it's initial score, this more accurately complements the MSP score as it takes into account score changes to the decimal rather than the whole number count of the MSP score.

Well, some do but the score changes can be attributed to a number of factors, most prominent i believe is new people coming into the show. Most people don't pick up a show immediately it starts airing, they may check out what's trending on the web or maybe a friend may recommend it to them, they watch then score it later than most. As we go farther into the season the trend should reduce and score changes will be based mostly on how well a show is received.

Wow this really interesting I've always wondered how you can see the score for each episode. Do you keep the day consistent that you record the score? Do you leave a set number of days so that people can have time to watch the episode (not everyone watches the day it comes out)?

I think there's a lot to analyse about MAL scores psychology and statistics. I'm a student of stats myself and if I had the time I would probably do something like this. Unfortunately I do not so I'll leave it up to you :D

We'd need to make a tabulated chart having the animes on a row and the week numbers on a column and adding the week at the end of the day, seems like a lot of work but if you're interested in doing it yourself then i'd be happy to add your final analysis to the first post.

True my friend, the score has been consecutively rising for the past 3 weeks and is expected to rise again when i take it's score tomorrow, Hitsugi no Chaika is also seeing similar gains.

Thanks for doing this. It's nice to be able to track the changes over a whole season and it's useful data when folks start spouting nonsense about certain shows being over-hyped from the beginning (NGNL I'm looking at you!).

Being a big yuri fan, I had such high hopes for Akuma no Riddle. I still generally enjoyed it, but there is no doubt it go progressively worse. And that ending...terrible imo.

I've been reading Akuma before the show aired and I can't get into it because it was confusing, and also typical action fest with all girls just like Canaan that I hate reading each chapter hoping it get better. Have to admit every time I read a bad chapter for Akuma, it gets good just for one chapter, but mostly it sucks after the last chapter like it's a pattern repeating from good to bad. Glad I dropped the manga.

Unless I'm reading these stats wrong, it appears to me that Mushishi Zoku Shou should be listed as breaking even instead of +1

Thanlks again, the scores of the final ep are updated a month after the season is over, so sometimes we forget to update the MSP score also if the score changes too much.
