| I do!!! Any Anime over 50+ episodes is long. A lot people disagree and think 100 episodes is long. Yes 100 episodes is long but for me a 50+ episode Anime is long, for example Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood has 64 episodes, I consider that long and it is on my top 10 list in long edition. What do you think???? |

| Well, I would probably refer to a 50 episode anime as a long-running show in the context of anime because nowadays the majority has 10-26 episodes. It's not a long series though, it's ~1000 minutes which translates to roughly one season of 40 minute per episode live action drama. It's more that the average modern anime length of 10-26 episodes is ridiculously short. The shorter series are barely any longer than an overlength movie. |

| 50ish is in the longer category for me. That's about two 26-episode seasons. If I'm going to invest in that, I have to be pretty interested in the show. 70+ episodes is where a series gets long for me. Shows like One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, etc venturing into 200+ are in the "hell no" category. There are too many great 26-episode shows that I have to watch before I can commit time into the masters of fillers. |

I used to play video games a lot more than I currently do. That was before getting into anime. After I finish a game three times I don't play it for a couple of months, if I really liked that game. | Yes. I don't really watch long running anime. The only long running anime that I'm currently watching is Naruto. No I did not watch every single episode I just skipped everything and watched fights that I remembered/felt like watching. |

I have absolutely no idea, but I do know it's not 50 given the pure volume of how many shows are shorter than that compared to 50 or something above it that would balance it out. It's like saying "the average lifespan of a human being is 100 because my Grandma lived to be 108 so I consider 100 average." The average of something is a numbers game - not one based in anecdotes. If anything the average length for a show wouldn't even be a normal length of a series, it'd be a number between 12 and 40 most likely. |
